Just watching the pregame show for FNIA and they were talking about how Elway basically hates Tebow as the future QB of the Broncos? Furthermore, Josh McDaniels has interviewes with the Vikings as OC and if he were to get the job, they would (The Vikings) would make a play to get Tebow from Denver.  I always thought that Elway somewhat liked Tebow???  Man, would really hate to see Tebow go to the Vikings. If Tebow gets traded I feel that somewhere down the road the Broncos will regret it!

Hey, everyone! I thought I read somewhere on Roll Bama Roll this past summer that one of the RBR staff members was going to travel to New York City to check out a "new" uniform for BAMA a la the uniforms that Boise and VT sported in the kickoff classic?  Not that I want to change the best uniforms in college football. But, each week I keep expecting to see BAMA come out in something different.  Is there any truth to this?  Thanks everyone and Roll Tide!!!!

Just saw on NFL.com that Leigh Tiffin was let go from the Browns today.  This really sucks! Thought he had a great opportunity to make that team this year.  Perhaps he can catch on with another NFL team!?  Would really like to see him with my beloved Denver Broncos. He was cut in favor of Scott Suisham- hard to believe...

Suisham I don't think is really that great of a kicker!  Good Luck, Leigh!!

Does anyone know when this is suppose to be announced today?  I thought for sure it would have been posted by now?  Can't wait for the season to get started!!  This is the best time of year - schedule comes out, the draft this weekend and the Avs in the playoffs!

I mean he has virtually disappeared with the Avs! I thought for sure the Avs would deal him at the trade deadline.. He just keeps hangin on.. I would appreciate any feedback from Denver! Alabama Crimson Tide Fan ('09 Champs!)

So I live here in Los Angeles and have been a Crimson Tide fan for quite some time.  Today I was discussing the option of what bar to watch the game in with my co-workers (they just want to watch me sweat it out). We have 10 people that want to go to the bar and watch the game. So I call and make reservations for 10. they say no problem we will also provide you with free appetizers and a couple pitchers of free beer for your 10 people.  Well, this is great right? The person setting us up is the daughter of one of my co-workers.  So I ask her "shall I ask for Jessica when I arrive to assure we are taken care of?"  She replies "no. I am going to the game!" She got free tickets from a hook up at the bar!!!!  I said didn't you go to Arizona State?  She said "yes, I did" I asked her if she knew who was playing? She said, "I think Alabama and Texas State?"  - at this point I'm fucking goin' crazy!!!!  I told her I would give her $500 for the ticket - figuring this would be a huge bargain for me, right?  She says, "well then I couldn't party with my friends!"  this is coming from a 23 year old!!!!!   She is going to sell me that ticket if it's the last thing I do on this planet!  RTR and I'll hopefully be at the game!!

I think we all agree that BAMA's uniforms by far are the best in College football! The crimson uniforms being my absolute favorites.  However, what other uniforms in college football do you find "attractive"?  Here are my top 5. I was hard pressed to find any other SEC uniforms that I care for. 

1) BAMA

2) North Carolina (love the blue pants)

3) South Florida

4) Michigan (even though I can't stand the program)

5) Washington

Although I am extremely blessed to have a job in these current economic times, my company will be starting a new project this summer.  With that said, my Saturdays thoughout the fall will be spent at the office.  Do any of my fanatic Crimson Tide fans have any ideas as to how I can catch all the Tide games (since most of them out here in CA are on the College Football Package)?  I do not believe that you can DVR or record any games of the College Football package.

Anyone have ideas on how I can get around this?  This is really going to SUCK big time if I can't watch the Tide this fall.

Hello, Everyone-

First of all, i would like to thank this year's edition of the Tide!  I have been a lifelong BAMA fan in places where I am virtually the "only one" (grew up in Colorado and now live in LA).  The Tide has given me a lot of great highs this year and even if they lost every game, my a$$ would still be in front of the TV watching them play their hearts out! I've enjoyed listening/reading all of your posts and often thought what it would be like to be there in AL going to the games, hooking up with people at a bar or tailgating with everyone.. I have only been to one BAMA game in my life it was the year that BAMA played at OKLA.  I remember having quite a few beers that morning before the game but as I got closer to the stadium I almost began crying because I was going to see them (my favorite team of all time) in person and no, it wasn't the beer!  This is when FranPhony was the coach.

With all that said what is the inside scoop for next year?  Will the backfield consist of McElroy, Coffee, Ingram?  I know Julio will be back.  The O-line loses Caldwell and Smith - how are our youngsters coming in?  I don't get a lot of press out here but was just wondering.  Who is this Star Jackson? Thomas Derrah?  I consider each one of you part of my Tide family and appreciate your comments......

I think the Tide opens with VaTech next year which I think we'll pound into the ground!
