Indy Cornrows Trade Idea - 3 Team Deal,Bring Pacers to the Playoffs 2010-2011(No bad contracts involve)

We know that there are 3 teams are very active to make moves before or in draft day.

They are Pacers,Timberwolves and Philadelphia

So how about the 3 team deal?

1. Pacers trade Danny Granger  to Timberwolves for Jonny Flynn/Ricky Rubino + Kevin Love + #4 pick+ #16 pick +#23 pick

*Timberwolves like granger, and kevin love can't play with Al Jefferson together. So the deal really make sense.

But how about the Pacers?

2. Pacers trade Troy Murphy +Brandon Rush + #4 pick to Philadelphia for #2 pick + Samuel Dalembert

* Philadelphia want to move Elton Brand, However, No team want to take the bad contract. But they really think that Evan Turner can't play with Iguodala and Thaddeus together. So the #4 pick can still find someone they like ( DeMarcus Cousins or Wesley Johnson), and they have add brandon rush and expire contract Murphy to the team which can help them a lot 2010-2011 and rebuild the team quickly.

So how about the Pacers?

We have #2 #10 #16 #23 pick this year

We have Jonny Flynn and Kevin Love now

Use #2 pick get Evan Turner, #10 pick get Paul George #16 get Hassan Whiteside #23 get Lance Stephenson

So lets see wt happened now

Indiana Pacers 2010

PG. Jonny Flynn / AJ Price/ TJ Ford

SG. Evan Turner/ D.Jones/Lance Stephenson

SF. Paul George/ Mike Dunlevey

PF. Kevin Love/ Tyler Hansbrough/Josh McRobert

C.  Roy Hibbert/ Hassan Whiteside/ Jeff Foster/ Soloman Jones/Samuel Dalembert

Then after the nbadraft day, Do some adjustment to move TJ and Soloman Jones to get a Backup SF and PG in trade or in the free agent market ,(Samuel Dalembert and Mike Dunlevey are expire contract 2011 anyway)

So we Finish the rebuilding process and Just make some adjustments after the 3 team trade. And we still have salary cap to make changes in the 2011 if some players not work in the Pacers.

How about that?

Indy Cornrows May 17, Pacers rookie workouts - Aubrey Coleman

http://hoopshype.com/workouts.htm

http://www.nbadraft.net/players/aubrey-coleman

12 - Aubrey Coleman

  • Birthday: 10/9/87
  • NBA Position: Shooting Guard
  • Class: Senior
  • Ht: 6-3
  • Wt: 210
  • Hometown: Houston, TX
  • High School: Gulf Shores Academy

NBA Comparison: Jamont Gordon/Jermaine Taylor

Strengths: A well built and explosive scoring guard … Has become a scoring machine in his senior season ... Plays with an extremely aggressive demeanor … Looks to attack off the dribble in the half court … Is very dangerous from mid-range, where he can make a variety of tough and contested shots off the dribble … He gets great elevation on his shot and has the ability to hang before releasing … He has a smooth stroke and a high point of release making it very difficult to contain his jumper …. Likes to operate from the top in ISO situations, where he uses a nice mix of moves to create separation … Uses his body well when attacking the basket …  Gets to the hoop on a regular basis, either finishing strong or drawing contact …Has shown glimpses of becoming a dependable shooter from deep … Is asked to carry a heavy load and he is proving that he is more than capable … His strength, athleticism and aggressiveness allow him to be a serious weapon on the glass … He has a great feel for the ball and is not afraid to mix it up inside when fighting for rebounds … Defensively he has great anticipation and looks to get into the passing lanes …

Weaknesses: He is strictly a wing player, but at 6’4 he is undersized … Although he has great leaping ability, his quickness isn’t good enough to allow him to compensate for size issues … Has the ball in his hands a high percent of the possessions, the question is whether he can be effective as a role player at the next level … Can he play within a system in an off the ball role … Houston’s offense forces him into ISO situations and limits his ability to operate off screens and in spot ups … He tends to play with the ball, over dribbling and then trying to make a play with a short shot clock … Has a bad habit of hoisting shots without looking to create for his teammates … Does not see the floor well … Struggles at the foul line … He has had games where he’s shown his range from deep, but at this point he is extremely inconsistent from beyond the arc (32%) … Will need to become a guy that can spread the floor with his outside shooting if he is ever to make an NBA roster … http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/player/profile?playerId=41600

Indy Cornrows NO TRADE BETTER THAN THIS ONE - Tony Parker

http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/66479/20100510/spurs_may_consider_trading_parker/

The Spurs are expected to consider trading Tony Parker to either give its three-man core a fresh look or find a younger big man to pair with Tim Duncan, after signing Manu Ginobili to a three-year contract worth nearly $40 million last month and with Duncan and Spurs coach Gregg Popovich under contract through 2011-12.

Duncan wouldn't be drawn on specific areas that need improvement, saying only: "We'll start doing whatever we've got to do to prepare for next year."

OK, So lets make a move around

Pacers : Tj Ford, Troy Murphy

Spurs : Tony Parker, R.Jefferson

u can add first round picks(2010,2011) or Rush or any players(not Roy hibbert and Danny Granger)

If they are not work in Pacers system?Tony Parker, R.Jefferson are expire contracts 2011

If they are work? Then we slove a lot of problems

Indy Cornrows 2010 Nba Draft, The Indiana Pacers Select

John Wall? Evan Turner?

Yes, Unfortunately, the pacers have opportunity to get one of the best players in the 2010 nba draft this year because we have a really bad nba regular season!

So i am not really enjoy the opportunity and high draft pick anyway. However, What we have to do now is that losing every games we can and see if it helps us in the future.

Back to the topic, 2010 nba draft, The indiana pacers select?

I think the answer is very simple (not that much choices here).

No 1 pick

If Pacers have the no 1 pick, we will have John Wall here.( i don't read any article about take wall or turner, because it's really waste the time). I am not going to figure out that wall or turner better, because they are 2 best players here, but everyone will take wall before turner. why? i just can tell u that Wall can be top 5 PG in the nba, turner 0% better than kobe and Lebron James.

No 2 pick

With the no 2 pick , Pacers will select Evan Turner. You may said that how about DeMarcus Cousins?Derrick Favors?Hey, you will see their name after Evan Turner, but no 2 pick?

I know everything can be happened, but just forget it, Evan Turner is the no 2 pick this year.

No 3 ,4, 5

1X% 2X OR 3X% we get first or second pick in 2010 nbadraft?Base on the record now( We will never win the Nets right? We are close...but Net is the "winner")

So lets face it, We may finally settle in no 3, 4 or 5.So Who will Pacers select? 5 names here

DeMarcus Cousins, Derrick Favors and Donatas MotieJunas,Greg Monroe and Wesley Johnson

(Hassan Whiteside and Al-faroug Aminu can be black horses who may take by teams in the top 5, but they are not work for the Pacers,  We have Danny, so Pacers will not select Al-faroug Aminu anyway,Hassan Whiteside?maybe, but not realistic, Because Roy Hibbert is there, and please check out the rookie ranking, Scout always  think that DeMarcus Cousins and Derrick Favors is better than Hassan Whiteside, so what make u think Pacers will take Hassan Whiteside before DeMarcus Cousins or Derrick Favors by using no 3, 4, or 5 pick?)

Because of we may finally settle in no 3,4 or 5 pick this year

Who is better for the Pacers? DeMarcus Cousins, Derrick Favors and Donatas MotieJunas,Greg Monroe and Wesley Johnson

My ranking is

1. Derrick Favors

2. DeMarcus Cousins

3. Donatas MotieJunas

4. Greg Monroe

5. Wesley Johnson

So thats means when Pacers have no 3 pick, they better select Derrick Favors, if Derrick Favors gone? they have to select DeMarcus Cousins.

Yes, Derrick Favors is better choice than DeMarcus Cousins, why? not about the potential, but it's all about the risk.DeMarcus Cousins bad personality will make things change even he maybe is a  better basketball player than Derrick Favors in the future(no one knows..). i will take Derrick Favors because he is the low risk choice for the Pacers.

Why i put Donatas MotieJunas and Greg Monroe 's name here? it's because Pacers may take one of them over Derrick Favors or DeMarcus Cousins .Don't be surprise that larry bird make this decison for us. They are both PF that can make long shot(3 points)....., i don't know about Donatas MotieJunas, people said that he is Andrea Bargnani type of players. but Greg Monroe ? Larry will like this kid in the heartbeat. Maybe he think Greg Monroe is better than Derrick Favors and DeMarcus Cousins? It's possible. He will not like bad personality kid like DeMarcus. but Derrick Favors? Larry will choose Derrick Favors or Greg Monroe? i hope that we can take Derrick Favors here, but if Derrick Favors gone, larry may take DeMarcus Cousins and trade him to other teams for Greg Monroe or unknown player Donatas MotieJunas.

So 65% chance that Pacers take Derrick Favors with no3,4 or 5 pick this year

If Derrick Favors gone, Pacers will move to Donatas MotieJunas, Greg Monroe or DeMarcus Cousins.

i think 45% chance Donatas MotieJunas , Greg Monroe 35%DeMarcus Cousins

Finally, when they are all gone , Pacers will think about Wesley Johnson, Cole Aldrich, Hassan Whiteside,Al-faroug Aminu,Ed Davis,Patrick Patterson or Xavier Henry.

But the % is very low, because they may finally have no 3,4 or 5 pick this year

In my conclusion, We have high % to get Derrick Favors in the 2010 nbadraft, Donatas MotieJunas and Greg Monroe after, then DeMarcus Cousins.

( I think Hassan Whiteside, James Anderson is the sleepers this year, They will have bright future in the nba. and Pacers may take Sherron Collins in the second round if they didn't get Wall and Sherron is still there when Pacers available.)
