Matt Thornton is utterly ridiculous.  He has dominating stuff, and has been solid pretty much since he got here thanks to a little help from Coop.  Jenks has not been all to impressive this season, or last season for that matter.  Even we he gets saves, he tends to load the bases, let up runs he shouldn't, and just overall scare the living shit out me.  Can someone please explain to me why Thornton can't take this job.  I know closers are rarely left handed but both Billy Wagner and Brian Fuentes were closers for a while, and I beleive that Thornton has the speed and control to be a dominant closer.  Any thoughts on this?

I keep hearing rumors that City is trying to get Torres.  I was wondering what people's thoughts were on whether or not this would happen.  I know that City has the money to get him, but do you think Liverpool is ready to part with him yet, and do you think if they do he will stay in the Premier League?  I suppose we have to just wait and see what happens, and watch as Liverpool continues to fall apart. 

Living at school in Florida, I have unfortunately have to see this play frequently, which may in fact be the Dumbest thing ever.  If you haven't seen this yet, you should check it out.  Basically, if anyone was dumb enough to do this on the Hawks I might end myself in a hail of gunfire.  I mean, honestly, who risks the health of the goalie you just failed to protect.  Maybe since it's the panthers and no one in southern Florida seems to care about them, they stopped caring about themselves.
