Hello Bills fans,

Keep this quiet because I shouldn't be over here and if word gets out I secretly have a crush on your Bills that won't bode well for me and mine. At any rate, I wanted to share with some of you a taste what Chan has cooking up. I personally have loved this off-season's signings between Thigpen (we called him 'Bones' back at Arrowhead Pride) and Brad Smith. (And to prove my Bills partilaity I even liked the Buster Davis signing [Chad Jackson 2.0]). Here's a sampler of what I believe is to come:

I searched specifically for this TD pass and it was the only place I found it available online, NFL has took it down. I believe this single play highlights the creativity and flexibility Chan is going to have with Brad Smith on the field. I understand 'Bones' will be the backup here (which candidly I think will be the best backup QB this franchise has had in years). It's important to note the QB in this clip was WR Mark Bradley who if I remember correctly only had experience playing QB in high school. Brad Smith is a far better, and far more talented QB prospect who played locally. I've seen what Smith can do at Missouri, I saw what he did for the Jets. I've seen Chan's work with Thigpen in KC and it's my perogative to inform you guys are in for a fun ride this season.

I look forward to our Week 1 matchup and fully anticipate Chan giving us a good ride for our money. Continue to keep the faith Bills fans!

Admittedly, I didn't watch yesterday's game but was pleasantly surprised upon reading the box score and the INT column tallying 2 for the Chiefs. I think the only thing sweeter than a DJ pick 6 is possibly Uric Berry's first career interception. It couldn't have came off a better QB either than the Bo-man, St. Cloud State's finest

7 weeks into this season of football we will be playing the Buffalo Bills, which if memory serves me correctly this will be the 3rd consecutive year we've faced off against the inferior form of Canadian Bison. The last two years we've met the same fate losing to them each time and judging by last night's preseason game we have no reason to expect different results this year. 

Now I know it's foolish to overreact to scrimmages against two teams practiced by 2nd & 3rd stringers, but this Buffalo game is an important date to look forward to because essentially it will be midway point of the season. It will be a time we should then know the identity of our ballclub and against a familiar opponent that for all intents & purposes is no better or greater a team than we are.  If you've paid attention to the league over the course of the last 4 years I think it's safe to state their roster is just as depleted of talent as ours (if not more), they've drafted for the most part poorly during this time, and their Head Coach was unearthed from our scrap heap on Arrowhead Drive.

It was rumored at one time Gailey was in consideration for HC promotion when Pioli was initially hired here, but wanting to reflect a change in culture to the fanbase he went with the outside hire. It's my determination that if Haley cannot pull out the win from the guy he had fired, with a team Scott and he have been building for over two years, then my perspective will be Scott Pioli fucked up.

I really think it boils down to being as simple as this one ballgame. Last year Todd lost to an interim rookie HC (promoted DC Perry Fewell) and this year he will go against his former OC. Judging by last night's dismantling of the Buff's by Shannahan, Todd shouldn't have too much to worry about. However, whatever team pulls out the victory on this fateful day will be lead by the Coach that is the better man. If we just so happen to be on the losing side, it's going to be a Day of Reckoning of sorts for this new administration in that we will have had enough sample size to assess their body of work. Primarily we'll able to gauge if Pioli's two biggest moves as acting GM (hiring Haley & trading 2nd rounder to Patriots) were either successes or failure's. Some of you may believe it'll still be too premature to determine, but after 23 games of "Chiefs Will" we should have a pretty solid idea as to what sinks or swims. 

Mark your calendar's Chiefs fans. 

A group of three of my buddies and I decided to take the step up this year and become regular season ticket holders. Obviously we love tailgating before the games but we happen into run into the same problem before every game. After several wienerschnitzel's & BBQ beef sandwhiches we have turtle heads popping out. The lines are always too long at the porta-potties and I hating missing out on tailgating. Anyone have a solution to this conundrum? Any secrets you could divulge? Anything at all - maybe even a sneaky place to park? Thanks in advance.

It's not often I make a FanShot so gather round losers. All these fans up in arms about our activeness or lack thereof in Free Agency is absolutely ludicrous. Chill the eff out, folks. I'm even surprised to hear our name attached to players like Boldin, TJ, Walter, etc. I fully expected Pioli to build the middle and bottom parts of our roster in FA and address our needs thru the draft. Folks moaning and complaining about how cheap Hunt & Pioli are simply off base. If Hunt was a cheap ass he would have pulled a Ralph Wilson on Herm(and his staff)and let them finish out their contracts. Instead he went after the biggest FA of all in Pioli and landed the sumabitch! To top it off we started this off-season bringing in Weiss & Crennel. Clark has no problem spending money, people, he'd rather just do it where it's necessary and not make it rain like his last name is Snyder. We're far from being a Super Bowl contending team and just because we now have a high profile coaching staff in place everyone's acting like we're just a few pieces away.

Reality check!

It's a big league out there. Just because we're not the first one's showing up to the dance doesn't mean we have to go home empty-handed. Prom Queen's are nice trophies but come next class reunion we're all thinking differently about who we wish we would have taken home that night.
