"As far as Eric Berry - don't be surprised if he's a pro Cornerback.....as opposed to a pro Safety." Davis goes on to add, "He's got the build to play corner, he's got the feet to play corner, and he could very well follow in the same footsteps as a former Tenennesse All-American Safety by the name of Dale Carter, who became an All-Pro Corner."

Pollard told me this week that Herm Edwards had to call the Texans and other franchises and assure them that the knock on Pollard being spread by Pioli and Haley was false.
Banta-Cain a Chief?
Would be sweet.

One more reason to like Sheed. Ball don't lie.
The Atrocious Return Game
Hey gang,
What's the 411 on on our kick return game? I see we've made two new additions in the receiving corps this week with players who both have experience in the return game. Kansas City hasn't had a capable return specialist since the heyday's of Eddie Drummond or B.J. Sams.
With Pioli and Haley's attention to detail & special teams I can't see them possibly keeping content with players we have now. I said since Day 1 it was a horrible idea to have Leggett field any punts. Keep him at DB; quit fooling around. Same with Charles - he's a RB not a KR. I can understand trying to get best use out of your 53 guys but as we love to say around here you can't put a square peg in a round hole. I know we're fully loaded at the CB position but as bad as our return game is and as good as Justin Miller is, it floors me he's not returning kicks for SOMEBODY.
What's everyone's thoughts on whats to come? Can we see any kickoff returns taken past the 30 this year or will this be another year we're gonna be starting every drive from the 20?

Darling is Dunzo
Providing the report is true it sounds like Darling may be headed to the IR for the year. As screwed as it is for me to say this, I'm kinda glad this leaves an open roster space for a crowded receiver corps
Why don't we want this guy? Homeboy has HANDS
Alright, who's got their Huddler? Those snuggies (or whatever the hell they're called) are kinda ridiculous but for some reason, you turn em red and put a Chiefs helmet on them and they're suddenly practical. Meaning, I can see lots of people rockin' these in Arrowhead when its the dead of winter
Ellis Hobbs -- acquired for two fifth-round picks from New England on draft day -- deflected a long ball down the left side away from a receiver and exulted, pumping his arms and exciting the crowd. "That's the first time I celebrated with pure emotion in a long time,'' said Hobbs. "In New England, they believe in keeping your emotions down. It zaps the life out of you. I remember standing on the sidelines in my first playoff game, home against Jacksonville, and getting all excited and I'm jumping around, and I feel this touch on my shoulders. I was told, 'Calm down.' I'm thinking, 'Wow, my first playoff game. Let's enjoy it.' But that's not the way it's done there.''
