Blog a Bull Sonics-Bulls-Blazers

Apparently Portland wasn't too impressed with Oden's workout and along with his injury issues might drop him to number 2. If Durant has an impressive workout with both the Blazers and the Sonics, this might prompt the Seattle to trade up to number 1 to draft Durant. They'll probably offer Lewis as well and Portland would want to rid themselves of Randolph. The Sonics, however, might not want to take on Randolph's contract. They still are in turmoil financially and if Durant doesn't save the franchise then it would be easier to sell it without Randolph.

This is where the Bulls can come in and offer Seattle PJ Brown, Noce, and Duhon for Randolph. This case Chicago keep their number 9 where we can draft a Corey Brewer (they might have to trade up for him) who might be able to replace either Deng or Gordon when it come time to sign them for a contract next year.

The big winner in this transaction will be Portland with a possible frontline of Oden, Aldridge and Lewis. Seattle will get their marketable superstar and Chicago will get help in the post and still be able to retain our draft pick where we can pick Brewer or the best player available. Corey Brewer is of interest because he can play both SF and SG which also gives us flexibility in deciding which of "the core" to retain next year.

Blog a Bull Emeka Okafor

If the Bulls won't be able to get Oden or Horford in the draft, we could hope that Charlotte gets Oden and Chicago trade for Emeka Okafor. Maybe the Bulls' 1st round pick, Nocioni/Khryapa/Sweetney and Duhon will be enough. Okafor might be injury prone but he's more ready to contribute than any of the 2007 first round big men other (than Big Greg and Big Al). What do you guys think?
