Brodie

i dont know what im more sick of espn only talking about brett favre, or chiefs nation talking bad about brodie....now i know there is plenty of good talk about brodie going around this year in OTA's and camp and im glad to hear it ima croyle fan myself.

I think people need to give him a chance before they judge him. And i really REALLY want to slap the @#$! out of jason whitlock. The guy is so hard-headed

But what he said about Brodie the other nite couldnt have been farther from the truth, So what if his longest pass was only 7 yards....maybe no one down the field was open...? Yes, preseason is important to an extent but i would much rather see croyle make the 7 yard pass than see him throw the ball into tight coverage for a possible turn over....isnt that progression? Yes croyle is going to have to make plays this year but i dont want to see forcing things for no reason, in a preseason game

i think croyle has shown alot of maturity, and is still going to have to show alot more hes going to have growing pains, but lets give him a shot. Im excited for our season and to watch all our young players grow this year.

i think hes got all the tools and a hell of an arm

I just want to see what you guys think about croyle?

good or bad

i want to hear it

Sick of ESPN

So today i sat down at three o'clock to watch NFL Live hoping to see the latest in NFL news and all i got was an  entire show talking about Green Bay and the Brett Favre issue.

Is it me or have these so called sports shows turned into more of "sport Reality" shows......T.O. and The Cowboys....."Ocho Cinco" and his latest fiasco.....The Pats and spygate or are they going 16-0 again....it gets OLD!

Hell every 1-5 first round draft pick besides Dorsey was all over the TV....Im just sick of it i guess....even the NFL network barely does a better job...what do you think?

Middle LB

I know Harris wasnt great last year...but he led our defense in tackles...I didnt think he did that bad....and now we brought in Demario Williams this year to challenge him.....i dont know too much about him any info?

I read today on the RedZone that Pat Thomas ran with the 1st team defense all day.

I guess there trying to feel out who is the best fit for our team. I just wanted to see what everyone thought about it.

I know its too early to tell but who do you think has the best chance of getting the job and why

i saw this posted on espn about croyle

what do you think?

I've received many e-mails from worried Chiefs fans. They are all concerned about Brodie Croyle. The overriding theme is that the fans are wondering how long of a leash does the third-year quarterback have?

That is a great question. You would think all season. The Chiefs are in a rebuilding mode so there is no rush to bench Croyle if he is struggling a bit. This team likely is not going to be a playoff contender.

The Chiefs have time to see if Croyle can develop into a solid player. The Chiefs should tell Croyle right now that he has the job all season. However, it is just for this season. If Croyle struggles, the Chiefs need to look elsewhere in 2009. But Croyle deserves to have one season to prove himself.

Of course, all bets are off if he is totally outplayed by No. 2 quarterback Tyler Thigpen in camp and in the preseason. If Croyle is a complete disaster this summer and Thigpen is a complete stud, then the Chiefs should make the change so they can put Thigpen in the position to prove himself for the future. But that seems unlikely.

At this point, it is Croyle's job to prove he can handle it. For now

If you ask me (kcpriest31) I think most chief fans are behind croyle and ready to see what he can do i think he has all the right tools and has showed some real good signs, he just needs more experience and learn to make better decisions, and i think croyle "could" be the QB for the chiefs

As for the leash on croyle i think he has this season and another as long as he can pull out 6-9 wins for the team if not i dont know how much longer he will be in KC, unless its obvious we didnt lose because of croyle

I think he made a few good points about croyle and the season but i think he was way off about thigpen...the guy hasnt proven anything, but not that hes had a real chance or anything

Dorseys contract

i got this from the kcstar When is dorsey going to get signed?!?!?!

Chiefs president Carl Peterson challenged Glenn Dorsey to encourage his agent, Joel Segal, to work harder to get the fifth overall pick signed.

Peterson said that as of this morning, the sides were not close to a deal and had temporarily suspended contract talks. Dorsey is the highest unsigned draft pick. Peterson said Segal wanted to wait until more first-round picks had signed before they proceeded.

"Our comment to Glenn Dorsey’s agent was: Look it, since you don’t want to negotiate, we’re going to go to camp and get started," Peterson said. "When you want to negotiate, you know how to reach us, so give me a phone call."

Peterson said Dorsey had promised team officials he would be in camp on time. He has until 9 a.m. Friday to keep his promise.

"He promised me, and he’s going to lose his bet that he’s going to be here on time," Peterson said. "Glenn knows he needs to be here; I think Glenn wants to be here."

Jamaal Charles

I really like Jamaal charles, The kid is fast as can be..Plus i think hes a great change of pace back to compliment LJ. He average just about 6.3 hards per carry at Texas and ran a 4.3 something at the combine.

But my question here is does anyone think he will be out kolby smith for the #2 back...nothing against Smith, he did a good job while LJ was out but i think charles has got a lot of talent.

And if he does beat out Smith for the #2 back how much do you think he will get to contribute on offense?

Glenn Dorsey

Just a couple of questions i had, and was wondering what the chiefs world out there thought. How much respect do you think Glenn "SwampThing" Dorsey will get from the start of the season? double teams? i really dont know who else they would. It would be nice to see dorsey and boone taking up the middle  Is Dorsey going to be to camp on time? Last one what kind of sack numbers he'll put up?

First post let me know what im doing wrong..
