Athletics Nation Mark Mulder retiring (Well, Unless You Ask Mulder)

This is from MLBTraderumors.com via Milwaukee TV "
"Lefty Mark Mulder is retiring, according to television reports from Today's TMJ4 of Milwaukee."

Was a very good pitcher for a long time, although, obviously never quite the same after a rash of injuries.  I actually met him very briefly once and was a very cool guy to speak with.   Former 20 game winner with an ERA consistently in the low 3.00's Mulder was certainly reliable for a stretch of time.  But he hasn't been healthy for 3 years.

Good night funny man

Athletics Nation Blue Jays acquire Dana Eveland for player to be named.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, I did not see it and it doesn't exactly qualify as breaking news but I am in 2 feet of snow in Philly so here you go

From MLB Trade Rumors.com  According to a team press release, Toronto has acquired left-hander Dana Eveland from the A's in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.  About two bucks maybe?

In nine starts for the Athletics last season, the 26-year-old posted a 7.16 ERA with 4.5 K/9 and 5.3 BB/9.
