This year, more than ever, that chilling statement is going to be profound. In less than 24 hours, the reaper will make his call. Quality players will be gone. Oh, some will boomerang back to the practice squad and others will land with other teams. Sadly, some might be done for good. Regardless of the out come, this fan truly thanks and acknowledges everyone’s efforts ! We as a team, are better because of the competition you provided. Peace be with you. To the newcomers enroute, welcome ! 

Wow, what a wild couple of days. You were right on top of things and your efforts are appreciated. Boy, it seems we're pointing in the right direction. Looking back, I do see a plan from the front office. Pretty work ! Here's my two cents worth on the draft.

# 1 - Draft one of the monster defensive tackles.

# 2 - Cornerback - Kyle Wilson - Boise State.

# 3 - Running back - Toby Gerhart - Stanford.

# 4 - Offensive Tackle - Kyle Calloway - Iowa.

Numbers 5 - 7 - Quarterback, Defensive Back, Linebacker.

Pure speculation on the names, however, DO draft the positions. Kool Aid, Kool Aid - TASTES GREAT !   

It looks like the 2009 draft was very successful for our Detroit Lions ! One way or another, all ten picks made the team. THANK-YOU ! to the entire organization for a great job, done well ! Everyone's efforts are greatly appreciated ! Even the practice squad has several gems in it. Pretty Work ! Speaking of work, the job continues, so, dig right in, we're with you all the way ! I know last week-end we ran a bunch of try out players and the such thru camp, however, I'm only seeing a couple of signings. Surely there must be a few more prospects out there that we'll nab from that outing. I always pull for those under " cats ", they are hungry and want to prove themselves. It's looks like that roster is filling up nicely. Competition is good ! Talking about guarantees, I guarantee the Lions will field a damn good team !   

Looking at the clock, it's 653 AM in Arizona. By the time this is posted, we'll REALLY see the direction this team is going. Rounds 6 & 7 will be a waste. So, we need to nail it in round THREE. Middle linebacker and offensive tackle, PLEASE ! Day one WAS productive, yet, surprising. Come on front office, nail it ! Thank-you ! ESPN TWO ! It's time to yell at the T.V. !
