Hall of Fame committee refuse to even CONSIDER Dennis Rodman
What retards. One of the greatest defenders and rebounders in the history of the NBA. 5 Championships. And they leave Rodman off the list of finalists because he was quirky (and as far as I know, never had any serious trouble with the law)
He didn't have to be a first-ballot inductee ...but leaving him off the list ENTIRELY means he wasn't even nominated, not even considered. STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!
Hell, why don't they just kick Wilt Chamberlain out of the hall for sleeping with too many women?
Imagine if LeBron & Bosh went to the Lakers?
Michael Jordan and the 1990s Bulls left a legacy that is almost impossible to top nowadays (especially with the incredible salaries now). In those early championship years, Jordan made only about $3M a year, while raking in $25-30M in endorsements. Plus, one of those teams went 72-10 in the regular season.
Kobe will never top MJs legacy and has a reputation of only recently being a team player.
LeBron is the best player in the NBA but has good but not superstar talent around him. And the only coach he's ever played for is Mike Brown. He may win a few championships (maybe even this year) but will not be ensured of too many in the future since free agents don't want to play in Cleveland (but would love to play and WIN with LeBron).
So [smoke some crack] and imagine if :
1. L.A. pulls off the the rumored trade of Bynum for Bosh. Bosh would be more likely to re-sign with LA next year. Who in the NBA could possibly beat Kobe, Gasol, and Bosh ?
2. LeBron decides "Hell, if I can't beat 'em, I'll join 'em." Plays for THE SAME AMOUNT Jordan played for ($3M a year), forming a team - with good 'ole PHIL JACKSON coaching him, and now has a chance to be part of THE BEST NBA TEAM OF ALL TIME. And LeBron would still rake in a ridiculous amount of endorsement money.
3. The above team would be a magnet for all aging all-stars who had never won a championship to finally play for an awesome team and get a ring and be part of being THE BEST.
4. Kobe has a chance to win as many or more championships than Jordan, while LeBron would be the best player in the NBA playing on the best team.
5. And the NBA ratings for following the team would be off the charts, just to see if anyone could beat them.
Phil Jackson coaching a starting lineup with:
1.LeBron
2.Kobe
3.Bosh
4.Gasol
It would be like the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Allen Iverson voted All-Star!?!
Is this entire country retarded?
