Tadahito Iguchi's agent said Wednesday that his client has talked to the Giants about a multi-year contract.

The San Francisco Chronicle speculates that Iguchi could play third base in 2008 and then slide back to second base in 2009 once Ray Durham's contract is up. Offering himself up as both a second and third baseman appears to have increased the market for Iguchi quite a bit.

I'm usually not a proponent of voting for Giants players on the All-Star ballots just because they're Giants. Therefore I have not voted the past two seasons. But we finally have a player (I feel) who deserves to be an All-Star at his position and I feel it is our duty as Giants fans to vote. So if you have yet to vote make sure you vote for Mr. Bengie Molina, i.e. B-Money.

Avg - .311 (1st in NL for C)
HR - 6 (T-1st in NL for C)
RBI - 33 (2nd in NL for C)
OPS - .821 (2nd in NL for C)
