In Support of the Move to LA
I grew up a Charger fan, despite growing up in East LA in the 80's and 90's. My dad was a die-hard Rams fan, as was my mom, and everyone around me were Raider fans (and , eventually, gang members).
I don't exactly know how it came to pass, but there was just something about the Chargers that I liked. Maybe it was the bruising running style of Natrone Means. Maybe it was the fast, responsive D led by Junior Seau, an alum of my favorite college team USC, Leslie O'Neal and the late Chris Mims. I can tell you with certainty that it had nothing to do with Stan Humphries.
Either way, I never got a chance to go see them play live as a kid because my parents were indifferent towards the team, and had no real reason to go to the Murph to watch football, the only times i would go to the stadium was to watch my Dodgers play the Padres.

But what if the Lakers didn't have to give up the budding young Center to get the superstar? Let's explore what this means...
