As the history hitherto of class struggles and modern bourgeois society! Class antagonisms! Feudal something of oppression! Serfdom! Bourgeoisie! Tottering feudal society! And victory for the proletariat!... That's you!

Nelson to interview on Sunday
Don Nelson on Sunday. This was expected, but it doesn't hurt to get confirmation. Zgoda guesses there will be 1-2 more interviews after this.
First Coaching Candidate: ... Terry Porter?
I'll be honest, I'm surprised he's the first candidate to get interviewed.
Rubio on his struggles, the Wolves and his future
From the RealGM boards (h/t koko)
Translation (from the RealGM post) below:
- He acknowledges he's having a bad time lately playing. It can't always be good times on the court, you have to enjoy the fun times when everything go well and learn when you're struggling.
- About the lockout, he doesn't want to be half season without playing, so if there's any, he could wait another year in Spain.
- About playing on Minny or any other team, Minny has shown him a lot of love, support and confidence. When a team shows you that kind of commitment you're grateful and you only have good words about them. He can't say anything bad about them, they supported him since the very first time, since he first thought about staying in Spain and he's very thankful for that.
- About playing uptempo basketball with Love and Beasley, he says the important thing is they had a project for winning, more than having PT for a team with no project. It's hard for an European player used to win (and not used to lose so many games in a season ) not letting that many loses on a rebuilding team affects him. (Gasol, Rudy, Calderón, all of them have talk about how they're used to win and how hard is to lose 50 times in a year when the year before they had lose 10 or 15 games tops ). The main thing is he doesn't want to play for a team when you lose and nobody really cares about it.
Mark Jackson 'leading candidate' for Wolves
New Minnesota president of basketball operations David Kahn has gone on record in saying he won't look for a replacement for fired coach Kevin McHale until after the NBA draft, multiple sources have told Pro Basketball News that Mark Jackson has emerged as the leading candidate for the [Timberwolves] position and will windup with his first coaching gig.
Don't think there's anything to it, but still, rumor mill. It does bring up the question of whether or not we should give someone like Jackson a shot. I'm not exactly inclined to do it, just because he doesn't really have any actual coaching experience, even as an assistant. He's been an analyst since his retirement.
Rumor aside, should we give someone like Jackson a shot?
