As someone who almost certainly knows less about coaching a basketball team than you:
Last night's game ended like this:
- 2 point/one possession game
- one timeout left
- over 20 seconds left
- scoreless in the previous 5 minutes
- inability to figure out the zone on the fly
- inability to play uptempo style like washington
- need to regain momentum
You didn't call the time out. Why? You're typically so keen on doing so. Why not call a time out and let our guys set something up? If you can, please explain. If you can't do so satisfactorily, I fear that the time to move on will have arrived.

I sure hope CBH is sending a copy of this article to every recruit, target, prospect, etc. It's a great read and very pleasing to know that our beloved UCLA has virtually set the standard as a pipeline for NBA talent.

Why the heck haven't we signed stempniak? he scored 28+20=48 last year and lord knows we need the goals! plus, hes a hard worker and since he was with phoenix last year we should have scouted him right well. plus, hes only what, 26?? i think we can get him for 3 years/ 4.6 mil (if not less) and put him on the second line and have him fill in on the top line if we need that.
what do you all think??
