Born and raised in Mass, left for the military, did my time, got out, went to UT and ended up working in the Nation's Capital... Since arriving here 6 years ago I started following the Caps and have been a fan despite their difficulties in the early part of the 21st century... It's been really great watching the young guys mature and the team has really started to gel... I still follow my Bruins, Sawx, Pats and Celtics... other than watching sports, I enjoy playing them as well... ice and roller hockey, some baseball, well actually softball... I try to live my life by the mantra "work hard, play hard" maybe that means I'm destined for an early grave but oh well, I plan to enjoy the time while it lasts...
