Issues Off the Field
With the concrete falling in a section at Angel Stadium, (Happy that no one was hurt)
The TMZ situation of Billy Mac and a young female.
The unfortunate and not necessary death of not only and Angel Fan but maybe a Baseball Fan. (RIP MR.)
Its only inviting to say that I hope that all the drama and issues stay on the field and not off the field. I love the angels and would love to see them win every game even though that’s not possible. Hope that they never get injured, hope that every outing by every reliever is drama-less. But what I would want more is less drama off the field. One can hope we just love baseball for the game and not let our pride or alcohol take over our common sense.
I would like to raise my cup ( full of water) and toast to a great season. But also hope every person is safe at angel stadium and driving to and from the Big A. I at least hope to hear more drama that has to the with the team on the field and not the stadium off the field.
Good day ALL!.

Are you going to opening DAY!?
Just wondering how many readers of this website are going to opening day. Personally My Girl and I are going. Looking to sit somewhere in the field sections. We have several tix we are looking at to purchase. But we will be there. Will you be there? Wil you wear your Halos heaven TEE SHIRT? Where are you siting? Last year at the end of the Baltimore, Angels game, (the one where figgy got a walk off walk) i saw rev with his micheal jackson leather jacket. Now that i think about it it was more like the cool Indiana Jones leather jacket. None the less saw the REV and if i see him this opening DAY i will give you a shout out!

Lackey: Disabled List
According to the LA TIMES, Big John Lackey is going to start the season on the disabled list.
This is somewhat scary to think that he may be out for a while. Especially with things like this (elbow issues), there could be a flare up. I know we are deep in pitching and all this means is that the other "Guys" are going to start having to pull their weight. I would not be surprised if we struggle in April but still come out on top when the season is over.
We should get used to a lot of hanging curveballs from Dustin Moseley and some inconsistent play from Nick Adenhart.
Hope all is well when Lackey starts to pitch. Is it me or is this the nail in the coffin that John Lackey now won't get signed for sure due to his MRI ?
Come on, Ninja. Pull the trigger.

Lackey, "negotiations are very slow"
John Lackey (stud and ace) has put an Opening Day deadline on this. I think if Tony doesnt get it done by opening day we may loose him to the free angency. Is anybody really sure that we will sign him.?
I dont feel to comfortable with this and John looks like the type to sign with Boston or both NY teams.

What the hell????????? He just came out and said it in a interview, he is actually 34, not 33. Does this hamper extending him?

Kelvim Escobar
So i just got back from a little vacation and have been out of the loop on small things about the Angels. One of them is Kelvim Escobar. I know he has a torn labrum but is he done for the 2009 year as well or will he have a role? Might be a dumb question but i couldnt find anything for my self.

Anger Management
UPDATE: I went to Buffalo Wild Wings this after noon to watch the game, and i threw a Wing at the seat.
Not that I need any Anger Management, but i am sure that most of us have done something were our frustration or emotions got the best of us during an Angels game, whether we are watching on t.v. or at the game.
Yesterday during 4 Homerun Saturday we witnessed a poor outing by Weaver who decided to call it in for the day. Im not complaining. Its expected that we may loose here and there. But for some reason i got a bit frustrated.
I hate Clown-Rod. When he hit the Home Run of Weaver, anger got the best of me. I was sitting on the couch next to a febreeze can and got it from the end and smashed the top on the wall. This of course snapped the top part where the febreeze comes out of and sent a never ending spray into my shirt and well pretty much had to throw it away because the spray wouldnt stop until the can was empty. Dumb Moment.
I was curious to know other acts of anger. Wheter is was the braking of a household appliance or the destruction of a remote. List your funniest or dumbest act of anger during the telecast of a game or even while attending the game.
