Pio Deportes reports this. Morales could retire if foot is not healed. He's tired of surgeries.

Off Topic- I got real itchy reading "pio". For those bilingual's out there reminded me of "piojos" (lice)

Maybe the Kazmir trade will payoff....Maybe Reagins was on to something with his release, nothing like Kazmir tanking a few games for Texas for us to get a lead.

No surprise here folks, looks like he was involded in a roundtable and some douche took it and twisted in another way. I for one still love Torii

It links to his blog which is also located on the lefthand side of the main page for Halos Heaven.

Halos Heaven Issues Off the Field

With the concrete falling in a section at Angel Stadium, (Happy that no one was hurt)

The TMZ situation of Billy Mac and a young female.

The unfortunate and not necessary death of not only and Angel Fan but maybe a Baseball Fan. (RIP MR.)

Its only inviting to say that I hope that all the drama and issues stay on the field and not off the field. I love the angels and would love to see them win every game even though that’s not possible. Hope that they never get injured, hope that every outing by every reliever is drama-less. But what I would want more is less drama off the field. One can hope we just love baseball for the game and not let our pride or alcohol take over our common sense.

I would like to raise my cup ( full of water) and toast to a great season. But also hope every person is safe at angel stadium and driving to and from the Big A. I at least hope to hear more drama that has to the with the team on the field and not the stadium off the field.

Good day ALL!.

Are you going to opening DAY!?

Just wondering how many readers of this website are going to opening day. Personally My Girl and I are going. Looking to sit somewhere in the field sections. We have several tix we are looking at to purchase. But we will be there. Will you be there? Wil you wear your Halos heaven TEE SHIRT? Where are you siting? Last year at the end of the Baltimore, Angels game, (the one where figgy got a walk off walk) i saw rev with his micheal jackson leather jacket. Now that i think about it it was more like the cool Indiana Jones leather jacket. None the less saw the REV and if i see him this opening DAY i will give you a shout out!

Halos Heaven Lackey: Disabled List

According to the LA TIMES, Big John Lackey is going to start the season on the disabled list.

Lackey OUT!

This is somewhat scary to think that he may be out for a while. Especially with things like this (elbow issues), there could be a flare up. I know we are deep in pitching and all this means is that the other "Guys" are going to start having to pull their weight. I would not be surprised if we struggle in April but still come out on top when the season is over.

We should get used to a lot of hanging curveballs from Dustin Moseley and some inconsistent play from Nick Adenhart.

Hope all is well when Lackey starts to pitch. Is it me or is this the nail in the coffin that John Lackey now won't get signed for sure due to his MRI ?

Come on, Ninja. Pull the trigger.

John Lackey (stud and ace) has put an Opening Day deadline on this. I think if Tony doesnt get it done by opening day we may loose him to the free angency. Is anybody really sure that we will sign him.?

I dont feel to comfortable with this and John looks like the type to sign with Boston or both NY teams.

What the hell????????? He just came out and said it in a interview, he is actually 34, not 33. Does this hamper extending him?

Kelvim Escobar

So i just got back from a little vacation and have been out of the loop on small things about the Angels. One of them is Kelvim Escobar. I know he has a torn labrum but is he done for the 2009 year as well or will he have a role? Might be a dumb question but i couldnt find anything for my self.

Halos Heaven Anger Management

UPDATE: I went to Buffalo Wild Wings this after noon to watch the game, and i threw a Wing at the seat.

Not that I need any Anger Management, but i am sure that most of us have done something were our frustration or emotions got the best of us during an Angels game, whether we are watching on t.v. or at the game.

Yesterday during 4 Homerun Saturday we witnessed a poor outing by Weaver who decided to call it in for the day. Im not complaining. Its expected that we may loose here and there. But for some reason i got a bit frustrated.

I hate Clown-Rod. When he hit the Home Run of Weaver, anger got the best of me. I was sitting on the couch next to a febreeze can and got it from the end and smashed the top on the wall. This of course snapped the top part where the febreeze comes out of and sent a never ending spray into my shirt and well pretty much had to throw it away because the spray wouldnt stop until the can was empty. Dumb Moment.

I was curious to know other acts of anger. Wheter is was the braking of a household appliance or the destruction of a remote. List your funniest or dumbest act of anger during the telecast of a game or even while attending the game.

Looks Like ESPN is giving us some props. Bottom Line the Angels are outplaying not only the soft AL west but outplaying the AL as well. Well deserved.

"There wasn't much need for our complex, ultra-secret statistical formula this week. Only a modicum of baseball knowledge was required to determine that the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are the No. 1 team in the MLB Power Rankings for the second straight week."

Halos Heaven K-Rod Taking Aim at Saves Record

Link-To-Story

Nice Story From the evil 4 Letter network about K-Rod and his chase at the saves. Record. Currently Chasing...

Nevertheless, it's time for the Bobby Thigpen Chase to officially commence.

Also noting that no matter what Frankie dont care bout no one and what they say.

His flair for fist-pumping and gesturing recently prompted Joe Crede and Brian Anderson of the White Sox to complain publicly about his on-field comportment.

If we stay in close games. Frankie could get it. I prefer blow-outs than risking close games.

Looks like Big John will make 2 Starts in R.C. Pretty cool. Close to home (I.E.) and a good chance to see him pitch. Good opportunity to see Big John flex his wings and maybe get a easy autograph. (if someone could show me how to post a link without showing the whole web site i would like that. Im still not there with my encrypting skills.)

Halos Heaven Panic? Me? I dont think so.

I for one folks.(and i may be speaking for many) Will not panic. In the recent weeks we have had pitchers report arm problems. Are Big Ace Stud got a case of the bad arm, our main set-up dude also got what the Big Ace got, the ones that pitch before the set-up dude decided to imitate George Parros and drop the gloves. Our closer , well simply put the dude wants to get paid. I for one thinks he should get paid, but not cuz hes that good. (HE REALLY IS THAT GOOD) but he just needs all that money to feed his 10 kids. (no joke i read that in an article one time). Our overpaid used-to-be-centerfielder twisted his ankle and is day to day and one of our veterans that may be leaving us soon also tweaked a couple of Bones. And at last, today. Our #2 Starter that on other teams could be the ace, well hes done and he assumed a role in keeping up to date with his myspace account.

During my downtime at work today while i was crusing through my favorites and i came to espn.com. I read an article where 4 out of 6 Writers picked the angels to end up 2nd in the west behind the Mariners..............................--sigh--

But those who are walking and treading on the ledge. Dont Panic. The season hasnt started. Dont folow the numbers or the predictions. "one day at a time' This year has a lot of hope and not potential. But i smell another West Championship in the works to start opening day. Kids?? Well the future is now. Those kids that we used to talk about last year or the year before. Well those Young Studs are hear and to stay.

We have a 1st basemen that didnty get hit in the head by a rival catcher, a 2nd Basemen who has nothing but to good hands and 10 fingers to open up a can of whoop ass on AL pitching, we got a battle for SS that may benefit both parties who compete and could help the ball club in more ways than catching and hitting, we got a 3rd basemen that isnt limited to one side of the plate, a LF who has something to prove, a CF who has about 5 rings to win for us(as he said) and well RF who will swing at anything but will end up with a avg above .330. and DH. well just say that competition brings out the best in us. With opening day to come. I for one wouldnt panic. Were the better, smater, faster team. So show your Halo pride and keep ya head. Lastly. since im only allowed 1 per month

FUCK the haters. Angels #1

Halos Heaven Its That Time Again So. Cal...

Its that time again. Months prior to Spring Training and even the regular season, when you're driving down the street and you look up, and you see this blunt red billboard with a big freakin A on it advertising that its time to get pumped up for the season. This past week I've seen that sign also with is saying to listen to 830 AM.

Pretty cool to get some love from the angels out herre in the Inland Empire. I saw the signs on Orange Show Road and Arrowhead Ave. The other was spotted on Baseline Ave. So have you seen any ads this early into the year. If So where and what street?

UPDATE: (RevHF) ... Missus Halofan snapped this in mid-city L.A. on La Brea north of Pico yesterday...

Halos Heaven Scioscia Best Manager in Baseball

For those whole live in outside of San Bernardino. Or the Inland Empire for that matter. I picked up the paper saw this pretty cool article on one of our very own. I mean its not Peter Gammons writing this stuff but its Paul Oberjuerge who gets the main articles all to himself. It made the newspaper so he is good enough for me.............

Enjoy .......

Halos Heaven Something to Think About on a Rough Night..

I am sure majority of you bloggers out there belong to some kind of fantasy baseball league where you draft players and put there stats together... blah blah . You should know how it works it out.

Anyways, i need some help on what to do in situations of starting pitchers and position players who play for the American League. Its obvious that at some point those american league players will play our beloved angels. Obvious you or I cannot control what happens on the field. But do you have such a hard time in deciding whether to start or bench that opposing pitcher or position player on a night the angels face the players team?

Ex. Tonight i had James Shields. I had a horrible last week. Got shut out by my opponent so this week i needed as many starts possible. But im a die hard fan and rather see the angels win and suffer in my fantasy league.. WELL AFTER TONIGHT. Maybe i should of started Mr. J. Shields.. Would of got the win.  What do you do.? The hell with it and start your players that could hurt the angels and help your fantasy team? Or who cares? it is what it is????
