Kaption Kaos: Poll with BO

Here we have a kaption-less photo featuring the Broncos top two quarterbacks. Zac Dysert and Peyton Manning. Again this appears to be at one of the camps during another beautiful Colorado day....

Following is a link to a comment by Brian Billik about how Tim Tebows number uno priority should be to slim down. Is there a method to Billick's madness? Should Tim Tebow lose some of that bulk during the off season? Will it help him become a better NFL quarterback? Coach Billick mentions that there are three types of athletes that can not afford to bulk up. Tennis players, golfers and QB's. I would make it four and throw pitchers into that category as well. If you take a look at successful athletes from those four positions none of them are very muscular, so does coach Billick have a point? Will John Elway and Coach Fox encourage Tim to spend more time in the class room and on the field then in the weight room over the next seven months? And how will coach Richesson prepare Tim for the season? Also the reference that MJD makes of Christian Bale slimming down for "The Fighter" was not the best one. How about Bale slimming way, way, down for his role in "The Machinist"? Holy Hip Bones Batman! Again. I wish there was a "preview post" option. I added a link and have no idea what is going to happen. here's the link, http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/brian-billick-recommends-tim-tebow-shed-muscle-172821454.html

Plaxico Burress Tebowing in Super Bowl XLII after catching the game winning TD to beat the Patriots? This photo was taken nearly four years ago....so should we actually be calling it Plaxing? Or Burressing? Or should we just forget that this moment ever happened and continue Tebowing? This is quite a conundrum. Unfortunately there is no 'pre-view' option for FanShots so I have no idea what is about to happen.

Broncos follow trend to maximize Tebow’s ability

I see the light Josh! asinsoin has helped me see the light. He made a statement about hindsight being 20/20 with the Josh McDaniels hire. But for me there is no hind sight! Thanks man. I think it finally clicked and might explain a lot. Ya see, I knew that Josh McDaniels was not the coach for the 2008 Denver Broncos and I never mentioned his name during my many discussions with friends, family and strangers about "Who are the Denver Broncos going to hire"? Never. Considering the players that the 2008 Broncos had on both sides of the ball and what Mike Shannahan (a controlling offensive minded coach) did to the Broncos. Personally, I never imagined that Pat Bowlen would hire Josh McDaniels. Fortunately, it wasn't personal back then. I didn't know much about the guy except what MSM told me but I didn't care either because he simply was not what the 2008 Denver Broncos needed at the time and Pat Bowlen was not going to hire him. Pretty cut and dry in my mind. And sh*t went downhill from there, real fast. It's a bummer to because Josh McDaniels could have surprised me, that would have been nice. "Wow, that was a good trade. Or "gee that wasn't half bad". "golly, great call". "neat-O, that was a super draft pick". "hey, maybe this guy really does know what he's doing". "Could it be that Pat knew something that I didn't" Or one of my favorites would have been "shucks, this guy is a quick learner". Nothing....the negatives so vastly outweigh the positives that I still can't believe it. I was and maybe still am in shock!

Beret

The US Army finally rids soldiers of the Black Wool Beret. No matter how many mistakes Josh McDaniels made (and boy was there a lot) they'll never compare to the mistake that General Shenseki made when he changed the cover warn by US Army soldiers. First of all the beret has its roots in France and Spain, I could probably stop right there to justify a reluctance to use the beret. But the beret has also been a symbol of distinction in the Army ranks for years. Tan (use to be black I think) for the Rangers, Maroon for Airborne troops and Green for special forces. Unlike the completely illogical black wool beret, the good ol'American ball cap is made of breathable light weight rip-stop cotton that has a bill to provide protection to exposed skin and eyes, making it a far better choice for those working out of doors. Like a lot of Josh McDaniels mistakes, this was a no brainer folks. Happy Birthday to the US Army, congratulations to the troops and thanks to all of you for your continued sacrifices and service. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43395533
