I've been a Red Wings fan since I was able to process thought, maintain memory, and act in conscience. Hockey is my one true love, and I am in a town where the nearest hockey city is a mere 10 hour drive. Unfortunately that city is Denver, the very center of Sauron's dark kingdom.

I attended my first Red Wings game this past year, at the ripe old age of 24 and watched the Wings defeat the Avalanche (as they are wont to do) 3-2 on March 4, 2009. Two weeks later, I actually flew myself to Detroit and watched my beloved Winged Wheelers in my personal hockey Mecca rally to defeat Philadelphia by the same score.

There is no human being alive that I hate more than Claude Lemieux.
