Rollin on P-R: "A race made for me" (FR)
An interview from La Presse with Dominique Rollin in which he discusses waxing vs. shaving and his preference for Acqua Di Gio Pour Homme (he likes the freshness and the note of bergamot).
Okay, no, he discusses his first Paris-Roubaix. Choice quote: "On the first sections of pavé, I had a smile on my lips and I said to myself, yeah, this is fun. On the last sections it was ow, this hurts, no more!" Overall he's very happy with his results on the cobbles and after seeing how well the races suit him he's raring to go again for next year.

A short profile by the CBC Sportology podcast on how "the Grizzly Adams of cycling" got into the sport.
Koksijde Vlaamse Duinencross
First of all, thanks once again to tedvdw for all the generous help with directions and so forth. The drinks are on me anytime you’re in my neck of the woods or vice versa.
I arrived in Flanders with a miserable virus courtesy of Germany, so with a head full of snot and around 30% of my usual energy levels I had to strike a few tentative plans from my programme – no Ghent Six Days or stalking Tyler Farrar (kidding! (mostly)). Happily, by Saturday I was feeling marginally less comatose so I headed out to the coast.
My first impression as I got near to the course was surprise at how little separation there was between the riders and the fans, in that there was none whatsoever. One of the guys riding by looked suspiciously familiar, I thought. Just then it started raining cats and dogs and we both ducked under a nearby tent where one of the women was warming up, and it turned out that I wasn’t dreaming, it was indeed Bart Wellens. I just about managed to mumble out a request for a picture.

Going to Koksijde (if I can find it?)
Hello everyone, long time listener, first time caller here. I realize it’s probably rather bad form to delurk with a plea for information, but if it weren’t for this site I probably wouldn’t be asking in the first place....
Is anyone planning to go to the WC cross at Koksijde on the 28th? Or has been before? If so, does anyone actually know how exactly to get to the course? There’s a bus stop listed on the website, but the map is useless. I’ve never been to one of these things and I don’t really speak Dutch/Flemish, so I’m having horrible visions of aimlessly wandering damp and forlorn along the Flemish coast.
Might be a bit of a long shot but I know there’s some cross fans in the house....
