The Bills and Syracuse basketball are my sporting loves. Syracuse football used to rank high as well, but there's something about a hopeless situation that just crushes my soul, or something like that. I'd give anything for a Bills Super Bowl victory to go with my SU basketball title, which I was lucky enough to attend and go crazy at.

Looking for funny, unique, different SU shirts

My fiance has decided to put together a quilt with all our old SU shirts.  We've got a bunch of customary "Syracuse", "SU", "S", and Otto shirts, but nothing truly funny or unique.  I'm looking for...

Bills vote against New Jersey Super Bowl

Five teams were opposed: the Texans, Steelers, Bills, Cardinals, and Ravens. Good. Screw NJ. Even though I live in the tri-state area, I have no interest in the SB coming here. This area shouldn't be given preference over every other northern city.

Six veteran Bills who were helped by the NFL Draft

Six Buffalo Bills were helped out by the positions addressed and players added during this past week's NFL Draft.

Demetrius Bell

With draft weekend over, we now know the players we will likely be going into the season with along the offensive line.  It's not pretty, and barring any trades or late free agent pick ups, it...

Marshawn Lynch has to be a goner w/ Bills. That's obvious. Couldn't give him away is what I've been told. Not confirmed by Bills. If true, that stinks. I find it hard to believe there would be no interest in him.... Yikes!

Some draft thoughts and a final mock to criticize

NFL Free Agency: Opening Night Open Thread #2

As Brian might say...welcome, dear readers, to what is quite literally the first hour (or I suppose second hour now) of the new NFL year. We filled up the first open thread with bizarre comments,...

Buffalo and Chester Taylor??

Taylor is expected to draw attention from a number of teams, a list that includes Chicago, Denver, Pittsburgh, Houston, Buffalo and Kansas City. Probably not true, but if so, this might be an indication of how Marshawn Lynch will be handled this offseason.....

A mock offseason/draft, with a trade slant

I haven't really dove into the mock draft hysteria yet, but I think my waiting is finally over.  It's the slowest part of the pre-draft off-season right now, with the Combine still over a week...

Restricted Free Agency tender amounts for 2010

Tenders 1st and 3rd Round: $3M 1st Round: $2.3M 2nd Round: $1.6M For those expecting the Bills to sign a Marcus McNeil or DeMeco Ryans, expect them to get the $3M tender. In fact, with it being pretty cheap, expect a lot of the top RFA's to get that.

Report: Eagles have decided to keep Vick

NFL Network's Michael Lombardi reported Tuesday night that the Eagles, suddenly, plan to keep quarterback Michael Vick. Lombardi says the Eagles feel as if they're "in a luxury position" with regard to their current quarterback group. They have Vick, probable future starter Kevin Kolb, and five-time Pro Bowler Donovan McNabb signed through 2010. I don't really believe this though. I can't imagine Philly keeping Vick and his handful of plays a game at $5M+ next year. Sounds like postulating to me.

A long look back....and ahead

I'm finally getting around to writing my thoughts about the season that was, the current state of affairs, and what should (or could?) be an eventful off-season, along with some ideas for what...
