Though Wallace wasn't someone who had outrageous demands.&nbsp;</p> <p>Is that sufficient rationale to over look a much higher upside?&nbsp;</p> <p>Cons to selecting Brett Wallace:</p> <p>1) His position is a question mark. Currently he plays 3rd base, but its unclear how long he will stick there</p> <p>2) The A's have a couple of guys with similar skill sets and question marks. A pretty clear example is Chris Carter.</p> <p>Reality:</p> <p>Brett Wallace may make his debut in the Majors in the upcoming season. He looks like he will be well above average hitter.&nbsp;</p> <p>Was this move a mistake?</p>
