Had 5 this year. Released suddenly. Grigson obviously has history with him. I think he could get re-energized here and be a great pick up. 1.6 mil left on his contract this year. Any one else with me on thnking the Colts should make this move asap?

I think this could Allow Mathis to spend more time at LB and give him and Freeney/Hughes another fresh body in the rotation.

What he's accomplished and the way that he studies, the way he prepares. He's really got a killer instinct too. I've been fortunate to be around him on a lot of occasions and we always hit it off; we have a great relationship and he's a friend of mine and someone that I always watch and admire because he always wants to improve, he always wants to get better and he doesn't settle for anything less than the best.

So when you watch the best and you're able to learn from the best, hopefully that helps me get better."

I don't know how else to put it. For every 1 handed sportscenter highlight catch we get 5 drops/wrong routes/miscommunications/interceptions.

That is all

But since I need 75 words before this publish I just want to explain how disgusted I am with his play as of late. He had so much promise, this was supposed to be his breakout year, but since the SB on he has absolutely killed this team and hurt them in many more ways than he has helped. I'm glad I held out on getting his jersey before the season started.

Jackson had to be carted off the field during an Eagles practice today. Appears to be the same knee that caused him trouble here. Please keep this former Colt in your thoughts!

UPDATE: Eagles are now saying it's a ankle injury. Hopefully we'll see Marlin on the field at some point during this season.

Just up watching the Lakers-Suns game. Waiting the inevitable Lakers/Celtics matchup. I see no open thread to celebrate the holiday known as Humpday around these parts. After the jump lots of lolcats for your pleasure. Put the children to sleep

Actually that whole lolcat thing was a publicity stunt. Hope I didn't take to much of your time. If nobody responds within 15 minutes this fanpost will self-destruct. In a splatter of poo.
Just a thought I had, I was wondering when everybody checking this site out. I know there are are many who lurk for a while before they join the community and start making posts, like myself.

Watching the site grow over the last couple years I just thought it would be interesting to hear when everybody else jumped on the bandwagon

My story after the jump

My story after the jump

Back in 06 during the early part of the season, I had a buddy of mine who always was on the site. Eventually I just remember checking it out on his computer, then I added it to my bookmarks in my dorm one night and I've probably checked in every day since

It took me a while to make a profile and all that stuff (after the SB Nation thing happened) but it's just crazy how much this site has grown and the community here is one of a kind and I think the recognition is great.

BBS has also become the Vince McMahon of SB Nation lmao....he knows how to keep the heated discussion going and I think that's a awesome thing for the site as a whole, because that's what blogs are about.

**EDIT** I'm still not sure about the whole LOL cat thing, but since I'm used to seeing it everyday now, and I am quite impressed at some of the MS paint skills and wittiness of many of our posters here, well in relation to cats. I think it's our trademark now...

That's one positive I will take out of this game. Each year is different for all teams, but after this season we will either win the SB and it won't matter, Polian will be the genius he was unquestionably thought to be by most of us previously.........

.....or the alternative, a very harsh, and humbling one *after the jump*

Fair or not, if the Colts do not atleast reach the SB there is no question that this resting the starters strategy has failed to reap enough benefits and should never be considered in the future if the Colts (somehow, but unlikely) find themselves in 13-0/14-0 territory

I mean if we lose in the Playoffs before the SB no matter what the outcome, no matter who gets injured, who muffs a play, drops a catch, blows a coverage, It will be blamed on this one game, the criticism will reach new levels. There will be no question in the future what the Colts should do

After this season we will be able to atleast breathe a little easier in the future knowing what our Team will do in these situations, because if it doesn't work this year it's time for a change in that philosophy
