Tracy Mcgrady headed to the Kings for Kevin Martin
The deal reported by ESPN's Marc Stein would send Martin, Kenny Thomas, Hilton Armstrong and Sergio Rodriguez to the Rockets for McGrady, Carl Landry, Joey Dorsey and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The report also said the trade could be expanded into a three-way trade that would eventually land McGrady in New York with the Knicks before Thursday's noon trading deadline.
NBA 2K9 - Warriors player ratings
The official player ratings for NBA 2k9 has been released. Here is the link: www.operationsports.com/mediaview.php?id=481&page=7 (Click on 77 - Added: Sep 21, 2008)
Ellis - 87
Jackson - 85
Maggette - 83
Biedrins - 81
Belinelli - 77
Harrington - 77
Wright - 76
Randolph - 74
Azubuike - 73
Watson - 73
Hendrix - 73
Williams - 73
Turiaf - 72
IMO, I think they did an "okay" job with the ratings. Ellis at 87 and Jackson at 85 seem fair. However, I think Azubuike and Turiaf could have had a better ranking. Come on, just because Belinelli has a solid 3 pointer doesn't mean he's an overall better player than Buike! Your thoughts?
Your Favorite BD Moment
The title says it all. I just wanted to share my favorite memory about possibly one of the best players to ever put on a "Warriors" uniform.
2007 - Round 2 Playoffs vs Jazz - Game 3
I remember being at that game, completely amazed at watching possibly one of Baron's greatest performances ever at the Oracle. He would make highlight after highlight, completely out-doing his last play. I can remember him penetrating to the basket and finishing with some ridiculous lay-ups that would make you say, "How the hell did he do that?!" However, one play will forever remain fresh in my memory for my entire lifetime. I'm sitting upper level, watching Baron blow pass Deron Williams and come at full speed towards Andre Kirilenko. Once Baron lifted off from the ground, everyone in my area stood up and witnessed the NASTIEST dunk ever. They must have replayed that dunk 10 times during the timeout called right after. All I thought to myself that night was "Baron Davis is God."
