LeShoure out for year, possible replacements
According to ESPN these players are still available:
Julius Jones
Dominic Rhodes
Fred Taylor
Brian Westbrook
Should we look at signing one of these players for a year?
or
Should we look at staying with what we have at RB?
Makes you wonder if the Lions are cursed sometimes. Here is hoping the Lions can overcome this and make the playoffs without their 2nd round pick helping.

Peterson and Peterson
I watched the game and have followed the lions all year and neither one of the Peterson on offense and defense. I am tired of Peterson (defense) not being able to cover a TE on a pattern. We need LB and OL and CB those are our 3 glaring needs at this point. what do you think?
By the Way the Lions got hosed on the Suh call. The Lions cannot get a fair shake when it comes to the referees although today was better, but still not 50/50.
Suns recap and offseason questions
Well unfortunately we could not get past the Lakers. I have to say though I was impressed and encouraged by what I saw from the Suns this year and from Alvin gentry as a coach. If you go back to the beginning of the season, not many if any thought the Suns would get as far as they did.
Season grade A.
Coach grade A
Bench grade A+
Now for the offseason.
First question, Do we resign Amundson? - Absolutely
Second question, Do we offer a contract to Frye? Not sold on him but for the right price I would say yes.
what free agents can we go after? not sure at this point, it depends on Amare.
what do we need to do to take the next step? thoughts???
Go Suns!
Lets all say it together

offseason thoughts and a mock
new reports on big albert are that wash is not shopping him. I don't think he would be good for the lions right now, mostly because of his contract. Next issue is that of a running back. I would be happy with best or gerhart at running back. None of the free agent RB are making me drool or even curious at this point. So here is how I see the draft going.
1rd) Suh
2nd) RB
3rd) CB
4th) OL
The only question I have is what are going to do with all of the 7tth rd picks we have any thoughts?
a possible FA
I was wondering what people thought about bringing in Bullock in to see if he is a good fit. I thought he was very productive as a titan. my thinking is that he could cost too much, but it might be worth it to have a look.

Trade or not to Trade that is the question.
What do you think about this trade
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yk74l3y
I know its alittle far fetched but it is an interesting scenario in any case. If there is a way to get out of JRich's contract then I am all for it. I like Amare, but in watching him play, I can't see him creating a shot for himself with some help from someone else. As far as his defense is concerned, this whole toreador style defense is not cutting it. I am tired of seeing it.
Another possible trade!
How about this possible trade.
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/.tradeMachine?tradeId=yjg6pv7
The only thing I am weary of is the contract of Brand but if our trainers can get him in shape, then I am all for it it not then I suggest this trade
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yhxh482
Either way I would want Kapono in the trade just because of his shooting.
Let me know what you think.
