BFlowers24:Special special thanks to my trainer..the best trainer out there @TonyVillani.because of him @Stuntman1429 and I killd the conditioning 2day
Kansas City Chiefs - Since they lost Jared Allen in 2008, and moved Tamba Hali to linebacker, Kansas City has chosen to beef up its defensive line considerably. They drafted Glenn Dorsey (297 LBS) in 2008 and moved him to defensive end, Tyson Jackson (296 LBS) in 2009 and moved him to defensive end, and would be ecstatic to sign Franklin (317 LBS) and put him in between them in 2011. Franklin would vastly improve a defense that was already a top ranked defense last season.
Madden 12 forecasts Franklin to Chiefs

Good stuff! Building good relationships!
In a case reminiscent of the New England Patriots' Spygate scandal of 2007-08, the Denver Broncos have fallen under the microscope of the NFL for possible impermissible videotaping of an opponent, The Denver Post has reported.

Remember what Haley said after the game? Hmm...
One of the newest Chiefs fans! Born Wednesday! Watching his first game today! (Well...sleeping through it, but still.)
Colts say goodbye to Tony Ugoh. Didn't see that coming.

Could he help out?
Three-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior. Champion shot-putter who has won the SEC indoor title.
Pos:
Athletic pass blocker who made major improvements as a senior. Blocks with leverage and displays outstanding range sliding laterally. Makes good use of angles, keeps his feet moving throughout the action and anchors at the point. Fluid moving about the field, nicely adjusts to defenders and displays skill blocking in motion. Very effective with his hands and jolts defenders with good punch. Flashes a nasty attitude and gets after blocks.
Neg:
Lacks dominant strength, gets minimal movement from run blocks and is not a finisher. Considered a track guy who was coaxed to play football.
Filed to ESPN: Chiefs traded S Jarrad Page, who signed his contract only on Friday, to New England for a conditional draft pick.

Filed to ESPN: Cardinals have told Matt Leinart they will release him today. Max Hall will be No. 2 QB.
Chiefs cut Ike Ndukwe, Mike Richardson, Leroy Banks, Rich Gunnell, Lemuel Jeanpierre, John Russell and Dan Santucci. More coming obviously
Hearing from a souce close to player that the Broncos will make it official toimorrow and place Elvis Diumervil on IR
One Fan's Family Fun Day Experience
I went up to Family Fun Day today in St. Jo, MO. I'm one of the one's that benefited from the move, as it's only about an hour drive from Lawrence, KS. I asked my wife if she was up to the trip and to my surprise she was really excited about going! I wasn't surprised that she wanted to go, just surprised that at 35 weeks pregnant she wanted to sit out in the sun for two hours! I wasn't going to argue though, so we made the one hour trek this morning and had a great time!
Here are a few stories from our day...

Coach Haley signed the back of a little boy's shirt at Family Fun Day. Made that boy's day for sure!
My wife and I headed up to Family Fun Day today and had a great time! Got to meet a lot of players and coaches! My wife is 8 months pregnant, with our first child. He's due on September 13th, opening day for the Chiefs! We got him a little T-Shirt and got some autographs for him! He'll enjoy it in about 4 years when he can actually wear it!
Check out the whole album here.
Chiefs take Dexter
Hopefully this will continue to improve people's opinions of McCluster. Watch his workout footage!!! Great hands. He'll come in really handy and get a lot of touches.
My reaction to the Chiefs drafting Eric Berry
Madden 11 Eric Berry Ratings
For the Madden lovers. Berry is an 85.
Tebow meets Berry
Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson signed his rfa tender, according to a league source.
What is Quinn's trade value?
1. Kansas City Chiefs
Skinny: Former Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis is the offensive coordinator in Kansas City, and Quinn knows that system like the back of his hand. So Quinn wouldn't be bad insurance for Matt Cassel. Defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel also was Quinn's head coach in Cleveland.
Found out a couple weeks ago we're having our first baby! Some friends got us this stuff today!
Denver and New England are dealing. Denver just acquired DE LeKevin Smith from the Patriots. Don't know terms but know Broncos needed D help
Commissioner Goodell suspends Browns' Stallworth indefinitely
Cleveland Browns WR Donte' Stallworth has been suspended indefinitely without pay by the NFL.
Q: What kind of shape is he in?
HALEY: "I would say he’s got some work to do."
You and me both, Todd. You and me both.
No more equivocating: Chiefs will run a 3-4 defense
"We’re going to try variations of it," coach Todd Haley said Thursday. "We’re not going to force square pegs in round holes."
A "Realistic(?)" View of the 2009 Chiefs
I'd like to start out by saying I have limited knowledge of football. I played two weeks in High School, but was forced to quit when my job at Taco Bell wasn't flexible enough for three-a-day practices.
That being said, I've been a chiefs fans since I was 7. I've never jumped on or off any bandwagons, just cheered when they were good and hoped for a better next year when they under-performed. So I'm pretty neutral when it comes to predicting our record.
I think we will end up somewhere between 5-11 and 9-7.
Here's why:
Live Wire: Inside Bill Belichick
It's obviously a slow evening, so I was checking out some old videos. This one had some interesting information in the end that caught my attention. I guess Matt Cassel's father died around week 14 last season and he came out in week 15 and threw 4 touchdown passes in a 49-26 routing of the Raiders earning the game ball for his dad.
I think that says a lot about Matt's determination and character and I'm really excited to see him at Arrowhead this season!
"The story of the 2009 Denver Broncos"
I couldn't resist! I was browsing YouTube for some Chiefs video and found what may be the worst Chiefs video ever made!
"We certainly will not seek a trade for Tony," Hunt said. "I think he’s excited about the changes we’ve made here. I think he recognizes that with Todd as the head coach, we’re going to have an exciting offense and one that will feature the passing game. No matter our starting quarterback, it will be someone who will look his way quite a bit."
Chiefs signed a free agent
According to 810, the Chiefs have a conference call around 4pm, to announce a free agent signing. I couldn't find anything online to support this, but they've mentioned it twice on the show.
Kevin Kietzman was speculating a WR, but really had no idea. They also said they don't expect it to be a big name, but more along the lines of what we've seen more recently.
I know this post doesn't have much info, but I just wanted to alert the AP family of the signing!
