Grew up in LTown, Westland, Belleville, etc. watching the Lions...waiting 4 them 2 get better...still waiting...still...wait...ing....anyways, Livin up n da' U.P. now after movin out 2 AZ n 90, hard 2 believe the Cards made it b4 dTown did, never woulda thunk it. Lived n Diego 4 a few & Denver, so been around, but still have remained a fan & after last year, almost question why? But, I think they may b on the right track, gettin rid of Millen was the 1st step n the right direction. I selected Chris Spielman, the heart & soul of the defense the last time they were any good, remember that? During the Barry Years...then they let Chris go & it's been downhill ever since, Symbolic of the last descent team they had & mayB a mold 4 the dFense, they need a Chris Spielman, a Pat Swilling, a Bennie Blades, a Robert Porcher, etc. I'd say Barry Sanders, but it may B a while b4 we c sum1 like that.

Sounds like they're just waiting on getting the details hammered out...yes! It would appear that Larry may have been in their plans all along, bringing the Draft into a much better perspective. Mayhew has apparently turned the corner to seek possibly an above par season. We can only hope the chemistry will be there, this could prove to be one of the best LB cores in the NFL!

I hope Mayhew will make this happen. There seems to be some good teams interested in the former Superbowl MLB. Hopefully, this sends a message to the value of plugging a Grand Canyon size hole in the Middle of the Defense, that I personally think if you're counting on a Safety to plug, you've already given up too much yardage on the play. I hope the new DT's work out, but I for 1 am not feelin too secure, in yet another attemp to convert a rookie OLB to the Middle.He keeps reiterating this player's value montra, but is a rookie QB, who's never taken a snap in the NFL, really have a plausable value at $12mil a year? I would think the value of suring up the Middle would be worht a few mil at least.

Is it me or he slackin this year, he's usually been the man, even last year he was 1 of the few guys that was pretty consistent last year. I think if he can get it goin on their gonna b a force this year. Thames 2, he was crushin the ball last year, hope all the rumors lit a fire under him instead of sceared 'im, let's work it. But, what a game, Millwood was crazy out there, but BL actually looked alright out there, hopefully we get that kinda consistency outta the bull pen this year. Go D...
