Looks like the price has gone up, but I am glad it is still available.

In the last few days I have read a lot about the Heat celebrating their championship(s) prematurely. Although I had read about it, I had never seen the actual footage so I decided to dig up this gem and see it for myself.

Here it is, in case you haven't seen it yet either.

Here are my projections for follow-up posts from SLCDunk:

Book Review: "Throw Me The Rock; an X's and O's guide to how the Utah Jazz negotiated peace in the Middle East"

How Jerry Sloan's game plan could also be used to fix healthcare and eliminate the national debt.

Deron Williams was really the one responsible for the collapse of the Berlin Wall.

The true story about how Kyrylo Fesenko invented the consonant.

Blazer's Edge The Latest From Canzano\Vulcan

"Then, on Thursday, Tod Leiweke, the head of Vulcan Sports and Entertainment said: 'Paul Allen shouldn't subsidize the Blazers to be in Portland and we're getting closer and closer to that magical break-even number which Paul's asked for.'"

Reading that made me raise my eyebrows a little.  I wouldn't have done so if he hadn't included the "to be in Portland" part.  True, a good sports owner should not have to subsidize his team but is Portland to blame, really?

Discuss.

Blazer's Edge Reflecting, and feeling good.

So the Blazers are tied for 3rd, and there is a shot that they could clinch 2nd.  Pretty good, right?  Yeah.  It sort of makes you wonder; what were your real expectations to start out the season - and what were everyone else's?  I was expecting less than 50 wins and somewhere in the middle of the pack in the Western Conference standings, but I also felt that it was a pretty optimistic expectation.

Here's the preseason coverage:
