2 Volleyball National Championships in 1 year? The (28-1)Penn State Mens Volleyball team captured the number 1 seed for the NCAA Mens Volleyball final four on Saturday. The final four will be held Thursday and Saturday at UC Irvine. This is the first time the Penn State Men have been the number one seed. The other teams are as followed: Seeded 2 is Pepperdine, 3 is Long Beach Sate, and 4th seed is Ohio State. The Lady Lion Volleyball team won their second national championship last fall and the men could win their second if they can get past Ohio State (who they beat twice already this year) and the winner of the Pepperdine v. Long Beach State matchup. Penn State has already beaten Long Beach State at Long Beach State about a month ago. The Semi final match between (1)Penn State and (4) Ohio State is set for Thursday 6:00 PM PT (9:00 PM ET) and will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and ESPNU with a simulcast on ESPN360.com.
