Wasn't thrilled about the pick but after watching this I feel a little better. Gruden was gushing over this kid pretty good!!

Rodgers calls Flynn a "top 15" QB. Kind of like saying your girlfriend is prettier than half the girls at the dance. I don't know about you guys but that gets me fired up!!!! HA

Chad Henne rounding out the top 10. Not too bad for a season opener!!

Gotta love ESPN

Just reading the bottom line and they are crediting Henne with a lost fumble. Nothing like intentionally trying to smear someone.

The Phinsider Mark Ingram??

I have been reading a lot of mock drafts lately, I know it's still early and everything is still really fluid right now. That being said the consensus #15 pick from all of these "experts" I use the term loosely, is that Mark Ingram will go to the Dolphins.

I live in Illinois so I don't get to see Ingram as much as you SEC guys, however I do know he is damn good. I was just kind of wondering how everyone around here would feel about taking Ingram in round #1

I personally don't believe in taking RBs high in the draft. If you look around the NFL today most of the top RBs weren't drafted in round #1. As much as I don't like Parcell's, I do believe in his philosophy that RBs are a dime a dozen. I believe there are more pressing needs in the early rounds such as interior OL and QB Maybe even a nice speedy WR.

So here's the poll. What say you Phinsiders??

A comparison of some young guns this season.

The Phinsider Meet Arrelious "Rejus" Benn

This is a guy I would love to see in the teal and orange next year. I think if Dez Bryant and Eric Berry are gone at pick 12 the phins should trade down and try and get this young man. I know a lot of you want McClain, I'm just not as high on the guy as some around this site. I believe the only 2 players that fill the Dolphins' needs worthy of the 12th pick are stated above.

On to Arrelious. This guy is a beast at 6'2" and 220lbs. He is projected to run the 40 in the mid 4.4's. He has it all. Kiper said it best (not that I put too much stock into what he says) "he would be a top 15 talent with a better QB throwing him the ball." Mayock has him as the second best WR behind only Dez. Right now most mock drafts have him going in the second round. I can almost guarantee after a strong combine he gets bumped into the first.

With all that being said if Dez or Berry aren't there at 12, I say trade down and try to get this young man. The Dolphins would get their #1 receiver and another draft pick or two along the way. Here is a video for all of you who are unfamiliar with "Rejus".

The Phinsider Rolando McClain = Channing Crowder?

Alright fellow Phinsiders, I know I'm probably going to take a verbal beating for what I'm about to say, but here goes.

I've been hearing a lot of people at this site saying if Rolando McClain is available at 12 the Dolphins should take him. Living in the Midwest I don't usually watch a lot of SEC games, but I figure since Alabama had such a good defense and Rolando McClain is pretty much the head of that unit that he is obviously a beast. So I decided to check out some videos of him. As ole Lee Corso would say "not so fast my friend". It seemed to me that he plays a lot like our very own Channing Crowder. Very good against the run. Other than that he kind of disappears. No game changing plays, not good in coverage, gets blocked easily especially when blitzing, and doesn't shed blocks well. Here are a couple videos I just watched (video 1 and video 2) let me know what you think.
