I was listening to the LaVar Arrington show with Chad Dukes today, and they had a very interestig debate on players who have tormented the Skins over the years. It got me thinking a lot of players have hurt us through out the years. and i would to continue that debate over here with this [post.

I have been dwelling on this thought since the game ended last night, and that is what is wrong with Alex Semin? in two games in these playoffs he has not shown me the 40 goal scorer in the regular season he has shown me the Semin that is piss-poor with the puck and tries to be fancy when fancy plays are not warranted. During these two playoff games he has taken 2 penalties that could have been very costly and  Boudreau took him off the first power play line. He has taken 11 shots in these 2 games, 5 in game two and 6 in game one. These next two games in Montreal Alex will have to show up in a big way if Ovie and Backstrom dont show up.

As a Ranger fan as everyone knows we have been stuck with Glen Sather for the last 9 years and in my opinion he has been a major bust as our gm and president i am going to compare him to Ryan Leaf. that is how mad i am with Sather as most of us Ranger fans are. I am going to go through many of his awful free agent signings since he has been here which most of us know about but to hammer my point bout how much of a disaster he has been. First of all, he hires Bryan Trotter in 2002 after a 93 page application was filled out. Look how that turned out, he cut ties with Ranger Legends- Brian Leetch and Adam Graves and brought in such free agents- Eric Lindros, Jaromir Jagr, Bobby Holik and one of the worst ever in his tenure Wade Redden. that is only a sample of them if anyone can come up with more please tell me and debate whether or not this post is warrented. Oh and one more bringing in Torts, who in my opinion hasalready worn out his welcome.

If the Hoyas win the Big East title i will think the committee will pace them as a number 3 seed. why a number 3 seed not good enough to be a number 1 seed but if we didn't have that stretch of games towards the end i would have them in a 2 seed but being a 3 seed in this year's tournament is a good thing and a bad thing because all the big teams could advance to the sweet 16 or we could see a rack of upsets.

give me your take on where you think our Hoyas will be put in according to seeding in the tournament if we end up winning the big east.

Former Oregon State and Pro Bowl quarterback Derek Andersonwas cut today by the Cleveland Browns after a year in which he replaced the starter Brady Quinn during the Ravensgame. Now that the browns have cut him I think it wouldn't hurt to take a look at signing him as our back-up because in my opinion Colt will not be our number two and Anderson would be a viable back-up if Jason gets hurt. Plus he has the experience of being a starter in the league if Jason goes down so if we draft a sam Bradford he wont get thrust into the game we could have Anderson step in and hopefully lead us to victory. The one problem i think we have in not signing him is i believe he is looking to be a starter and he will not be one here and he is most likely looking for starters type of money

This is my post game thoughts on what I saw on the Leafs game last night against the Bruins. First of all, I think the Leafs came out ok after that awful performance against Carolina on Tuesday night. I thought Jean-Sebastien Giguere played a solid game in saving 29 shots but did give up two goals which I thought he should have stopped. I thought Phil Kessel has a couple solid chances to score on Tim Thomas but just could not convert on them. On defense, Dion Phaneuf played like he was brought here to do which was pretty fantastic to me. I also thought Luca Caputi played excellent last night with a assist in his debut  for us.

I thought Viktor Stalberg and Tyler Bozak played above and beyond last night with there 3rd and 4thgoals respectively with Nikolai Kulemin and Caputi the helpers on the Bozak goal and Jamie Lundmark and Francois Beauchemin the helpers on the Stalberg goal that tied it up at 1 a piece. Miroslav Satan scored the game's opening goal after the Bruins first goal was disallowed 63 seconds into the game after it was determined that Micheal Ryder kicked the puck into the net, which in my opinion was the right call. Then Johnny Boychuk scored in the second to make it a 2-1 lead going in to the third period, then Bozak scorred late on a tip-in to make 2-2.

Finally in the shoot-out it was Satan again to beat Giguere the chance for the Bruins to win all they needed to do was have Thomas do was stop Bozak which he did. The final score ended 3-2 Bruins in a hard fought comeback by the Leafs after being down 2-1 heading in to the 3rd and just coming up close but losing in a shoot-out. The next game for the Maple Leafs is Saturday night against our hated rivals the Ottawa Senators at 7:00.

In my opinion i believe we should release Porter if and only if we sign Dansby once free agency starts. Porter has not been pleased with the team. Also he is getting up in age and i think his production will start to slip if he stays around in Miami, he has hinted about wanting to play on the west coast so if he wants out so bad once we sign dansby and if we sign him, porter I'm sorry you have been great here but you want out you can go.

Brandon Marshall the wide receiver out of Denver has had some notable disputes with their coach Josh McDaniels over his contract.  Over the last year we have seen him complain after Cutler was traded to the Bears and a few weeks after that it was widely reported that he asked to be traded or given a larger sum of money. During the season their was a incident where during practice he was kicking balls and making the ball boys run after so the Broncos suspeneded him for that week's game. It has been reported that Marshall wants a bigger contract or wants to be traded, here my question do the redskins go out and trade for Marshall? I believe they should do whatever they can to bring him in to d.c. he can give you good production as your top receiver and will open up options for Campbell or whoever is the quarterback to throw to the other side f the field or the slot guy.

Look i understand we would have to give up our first round pick and maybe a player but if Denver want to deal him if they can not come to a agreement on a contract id say lets do the deal. now that means Santana moves to the slot and either we move Thomas or Kelly or even Mitchell to the other receiver position and that leaves Randle El out of the rotation nut like i said earlier if Marshall cant sign a extension with them and wants out i would think Marshall in a skins uniform would be a good thing/
