Memphis defensive end tops nation in sacks, tackles for loss. Tigers defensive end Martin Ifedi (97) has earned AAC Defensive Player of the Week. Should we look at another Memphis prospect?

Three things about the game... 1-I thought coming in, Donnie Avery couldn't catch the ball? 2-So glad the Jon Baldwin experiment is over... 3-Are they taking donations to help pay to paint the rest of the Jags helmets?

Is there any evidence Reid generally takes the safe (BPA) pick during the draft or does he usually go against the "popular" pick? (One that the so called experts pick for him) I'm just wondering if its gonna be Fisher and not Joeckel...(Like everyone else...LOL)

I need help. Has any current Chiefs player ever sacked Eli Manning? If so, is there video? A friend of mine is a huge Eli fan and I have to rub in the game coming up in September.

With Long signing with the Rams, could Miami be the team that wants to trade up with the Chiefs? Miami potentially could swap 1st's (#12) and give the Chiefs their second pick (42nd) since the 'Phins have two second round picks now.

Question: Does the team with the first pick have to notify the League before the draft whom it will take with the first pick so that the person can be on stage for the introduction? I understand about #two through the end doesn't have to be, but I didn't know the answer to the first pick. And I know it would be the ultimate secret.

Why is it when I hear the Chiefs are interested in any DB from Miami, I get a sick feeling with flashbacks of Patrick Surtain?

Question now is, will Alex Smith hop on a plane to KC as the most hated and unwelcome new Chief ever acquired? I welcome him with open arms!

R.I. P. Kansas City Chiefs 1960-2013

I loved my Chiefs, so much that it was nothing to trek 500 miles each way once a year to see them play. I loved growing up with them as a child (born in 1961, was introduced to them by my father...

I am all over this suggesstion by Bill Williamson today on ESPN: I could see a scenario where the Chiefs could use the No. 1 pick as bait and get Revis, who played for new Kansas City defensive...

HALEY -CHIEFS, greatest single-season turnaround in franchise history

2

"Haley left the Cardinals following the 2009 season for his first head-coaching job with the Kansas City Chiefs under GM Scott Pioli. He led the Chiefs to a 10-6 record and an AFC West title in his first year, the greatest single-season turnaround in franchise history."

AP-I think we got ourselves a problem boiling...With the possible (probable) changes coming in San Diego and now Oakland, are we going to be able to lure the next best GM, HC to Kansas City over those two franchises?

What about Herm Edwards as GM? He drafted some of our current best players and he knows the assistant coaching personnel around the League. The GM's job as Carl Peterson said is to find the best coach and give him the best players you can. What say you?

Is this someone to watch-consider? Bruce Arians, At the end of the college football season in 1988, Arians was hired in the NFL as a running backs coach for the Kansas City Chiefs. It was during this time with the Chiefs that he worked with the coach who brought him to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Bill Cowher. He also spent one season as the tight ends coach of the New Orleans Saints. Following this stint was when he made a name for himself when he got the job as the quarterbacks coach of the Indianapolis Colts. He was the first quarterback coach of Peyton Manning when he arrived in the NFL. Afterward, he was hired as offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns. After two seasons with the Browns, he was hired by Bill Cowher as the wide receivers coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers. On January 23, 2007, he was promoted to offensive coordinator of the Steelers, a position he held until his contract expired after the 2011 season.[3]. On January 28, 2012, Arians agreed to become the offensive coordinator of the Indianapolis Colts, replacing Clyde Christensen. [4] On October 1, 2012, Arians was reported to have been named the interim head coach of the Colts following coach Chuck Pagano's leukemia diagnosis.[5]
