first of all -i didn't believed that all this trade is real untill draft day when Yahoo was corresponding

Warriors coach Don Nelson is telling friends that there’s nothing seriously brewing there

Yahoo

then i understood it's serious as serious as it could be

via img.photobucket.com

i started to think why this trade should happen -because Suns from business perspective are way more interested in this trade than W's -without this trade W's are still in good position to build a playoff team for years to come -with all trade chips they are capable to move all bad contracts away and get good players back -this would not be a contender at the moment but still it would be great team with regular playoffs presence

1. Mullin shipped away

via www.wowowow.com

about in middle of last season it was clear -this team isn't going nowhere + heavy contracts of Maggette Crawford and Sjax was a hard burden

W's needed guy who is capable to make a lot of heavy moves -who is good at scouting, got enough contacts in league and know how to talk

and here comes Riley

2. Riley

via farm1.static.flickr.com

he is in pretty tough position -he is in between Nellie and Rowel and if you are in situation like that you can't afford a luxury of even single mistake -but Riley is experienced man with his big ticket to next level -so he will do at best whatever this doom duo will ask him to do (no he isn't a puppet -he is probably almost only who is capable to do this job now because of mix of different reasons)

Why Amare and why now

via secure.michaelsactionart.com

Nellie needs Amare now as much as Suns want to trade him because this is his last year of coaching and he is closer to HOF with his coaching record more than ever -but to do that he needs not just get to the playoffs but to do this in some kind of pompous way

-plus Cohan needs it just because -imagine how many tickets will be renewed in next week after Amare is signed

Prediction (speculation)

via blogs.blogzini.com

Amare will be signed for 3 years and KB+BW+MB+AB are going to Phoenix -it still isn't the last move -i expect Maggete (or even Jack) will be traded untill trade deadline (most likely this summer) along with Claxton and Law for some "damn good veterans" -prolly they will not be exactly "damn good" but still quality players who are capable to run run run

-this will be good team in short term (prolly capable to reach conference finals) but after ...dunno -maybe collapse maybe slow death maybe 42 wins team with no playoffs

View

via ecotality.com

i still think that W's would be in a better position without this trade -it's a risky move -i'd never put all my money to single horse -but Nellie is a probably the biggest poker player in NBA

PS -excuse my ENG skillz (punctuation etc)

and to Sleepy -yess -i'll still gonna check GSoM time after time

But if the Warriors turn around and ship Curry, Brandan Wright, Marco Belinelli and Andris Biedrins to Phoenix for Amare Stoudemire in July, as rumored, I'm not going feel as good about it. Stoudemire is great, but that's a lot to give up for one guy, especially if he might be just a one-year rental in Oakland.

It looked like a bad right ankle sprain for Warriors center Andris Biedrins when he suffered it on Friday in Golden State’s 115-105 loss to Phoenix, and that fear was realized Saturday. A team spokesman said that Biedrins will probably miss at least three games, not to return until Golden State’s first game after the All-Star break, at the earliest.
