Say your starting a league and you can take anyone. Do you take Joe Mauer, Albert Pujols, Tim Lincecum or Hanley Ramirez.   These are really the only 4 players I can possibly see being taken.     I take them in this order,  Hanley, Pujols, Lincecum then Mauer.

I know most people will go with Pujols but think finding a SS is tough and no one is close to him.   I think Lincecum is one pitch away from surgery every time I watch him, Dont get me wrong, he is awesome, just that slinging motion worries me.  I would have strongly considered Mauer if I thought he would be a catcher for more then the next 3 years or so, then gradually sliding over to 1b/dh while still catching some.

What do you guys think and why?

Looks like the Athletics have signed Ben Sheets.  1 year, 10 million with incentives.  Seems like a lot for a guy who missed all of last year, i thought it would be closer to 7 1/2 million with incentives.    I think the As have a damn solid rotation and if he can bounce back, it could be very good.

Now that Noel Arguelles has finally signed, what grade do you see him getting?  Where would you rank him in the Royals system?

After reading into him a little bit, I like him more now then I did when I first heard about the signing.  Got a body that he can still grow into and think he could probably pick up another 2 mph on his fastball. 

I just wish that we could be sure about his real age.
