According to Olshey, Aminu was overexerting himself in Vegas. He was out until the early hours of the morning shooting with Ben Gordon. He would wake up early for an AM practice and then would of course have an evening game.

During training camp, he has arrived hours early and has continued to put in work after practice has finished. Like him or not, his work ethic or desire shouldn't be questioned.

I'm looking forward to seeing both he and Bledsoe in action after putting in a couple of month's work with teammates and coaches.

LeBron, Wade, Bosh, Amare, Joe Johnson, Lee, Dirk & Boozer all have their destinations decided by ESPN's Free Agent Slot Machine.

The only players I've seen the Clippers get were Johnson and LeBron. I have had us land Joe Johnson a few times.

Nothing serious, but it may hold your interest for a few spins.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy will miss Portland's next three games and the NBA All-Star Game with a right hamstring strain, it was announced today by General Manager Kevin Pritchard.

"Unfortunately, I'm not where I was hoping I would be physically at this point," said Roy. "It's a setback and I'm obviously disappointed, but my entire focus is getting back on the court, contributing and helping our team down the stretch."

The higher the cap, the more that we could be able to do in the off-season. Many of us have played around with our projected guaranteed 2010 salary and cap space. If the Cap is remotely close to $57M as stated, we could potentially be looking at max salary cap space. $54M is more realistic, but we might be in for a surprise.

Los Angeles Clippers rookie forward Blake Griffin underwent a CT Scan and MRI of the stress fracture of his left patella yesterday.

In addition to his continued strength and conditioning work, Griffin has been cleared to begin running on an AlterG Anti-Gravity treadmill beginning today and is expected to begin running on a normal full-body weight treadmill next week.

Based on expected progression, Griffin is expected to be cleared for a return to basketball related activity in approximately three weeks.

Griffin, the first overall selection in the 2009 NBA Draft, suffered a non-displaced stress fracture of his left patella during the Clippers’ last preseason game vs. the New Orleans Hornets on Friday, October 23rd.

Michael Eaves posted this on his blog and thought fellow Clipper fans would like to know about it.

"Sweethearts for Soldiers is a non-profit organization that provides troop entertainment, care packages and produces an annual charity calendar. The group is comprised of former NFL and NBA cheerleaders who have a strong passion for supporting our military. The mission of the Sweethearts' is to help raise morale and bring a touch of home to the brave men and women fighting for our freedoms.

So do your part to support our troops by checking out the website and donating to the cause. The 2010 calendar will be out shortly! "

The Sixers have unveiled their new uniforms and don't they look quite similar to another NBA team? It looks like bRANd is having deja vu. I was happy to hear that they were likely going back to their retro look/colors, but I didn't expect them to end up with a cheap imitation of our jerseys.

After reading this article by Chris Sheridan, I'm pretty convinced that Minnesota knew that the likelihood was that Rubio would not be joining them for 3 more seasons. Sheridan explains that Rubio will greatly benefit monetarily if he stays in Barcelona for 3 years as opposed to 2. He says when you look at at what is at stake, that it is practically a no-brainer for Rubio to stay overseas. This could explain their pursuit of Sessions who just so happens to have a player option in the 4th year (Rubio's possible 1st season).

Another thought pertains to us is that 2012 is the year where the lottery protection wears off of our pick that is owed from the Wolves. Let's say he still doesn't want to be a timberwolf, we could potentially offer them their pick back in a package. Baron will be entering into the final year of his contract as a $14.75 million expiring, so it's not like he can't be moved. It's hard to project what our salary situation would be like then (only 3 current players are under contract in 2012 as of today), but it could be a possibility that would really exciting.

According to Dime Magazine, AI reached a deal with Charlotte on Friday night, but the deal won't be made official until next week.

I feel bad that it took this long for somebody to sign him, but I'm glad it is not us.
