Citing league sources, the Washington Post reports that the Dolphins offered Jason Taylor to the Redskins.

However, the Redskins reportedly turned Miami down. The Dolphins may have asked for the No. 21 overall pick, which Washington is interested in moving, but 'Skins officials don't feel Taylor would fit in with their long-term plans. The Post does not expect the Redskins' stance to change. Apr. 25 - 4:45 pm et

I never really thought that Taylor would fit with the SKINS, i think he could rejuvenate his carrer in Jacksonville

NBCSports.com's Tom Curran reports the Dolphins are nearing a contract agreement with Michigan OT Jake Long.

The deal would make Long the No. 1 overall pick. The Dolphins began talks with Long's agent, Tom Condon, two weeks ago and never engaged in serious deliberations with any other player. Curran writes that with Long off the board, St. Louis is "a lock" to use the No. 2 pick on a defensive player. UVA DE Chris Long is reportedly "very confident" he'll be the Rams' choice.
This is big news! didn't see it posted, so i thought i'd share it with you guys.
