Spadaro over at PE believes Andy Reid already has his guy "lined up"- which explains Reid's laid back demeanor.

Someone PLEASE post up the catch and run McCoy had in the 4th (or late in the 3rd? I forgot- that whole game just whooshed over my head) where he made around 5 guys miss. It was a thing of beauty. Reid and Co. needs to understand we have one of the better RB's in the NFL behind Vick. We need to give this guy more than 15 carries a game.

EDIT: Found it. But poor quality, and it's the replay..

I seriously can't get enough of this...

All the way on the bottom

" The Eagles are talking return to the Super Bowl. On their opening possession at Chicago, facing third-and-8, Michael Vick danced in the pocket trying to buy time for a receiver to get open and was sacked, setting the tone for what would become a loss. On the play, after their initial blocks, all five Philadelphia offensive linemen stood around doing nothing, not even attempting to help Vick, just watching him try to evade defensive linemen -- all four of them unblocked at that point.

TMQ notes that it's surprisingly common, during an NFL down, to find a player who is doing nothing at all, just standing there watching. On this down, all five offensive linemen did nothing. Philadelphia offensive line -- you are guilty of the single worst play of the 2010 season. So far."

Anyone have a video clip of this?

Bleeding Green Nation Westy!

Anyone watching this Cardinals and 49ers game? I know, I know...what am I smoking? But, Frank Gore got hurt early (?) in the game, and Westbrook comes in and is just playing his mind out.

As of right now he has 121 yards on 18 carries and a TD. Absolutely loving it!

Vintage Westbrook, baby! Also because this has to be 75 words long, E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!

Still not enough....damn.

EDIT: Turns out Gore's out for the rest of the year. West's gonna get the bulk of the load, with Dixon getting some touches.

"Vick kept saying after the incident, when he arrived at training camp, that he should have listened to his mother, Brenda, from the beginning and not have gone to the party that was hosted by his brother, Marcus. Apparently, Vick and his brother had been partying for months."

Wow.

This is a huge blow to the Giants. Once the strength of the team, this unit is now in shambles.

A rib cartilage injury will prevent Eagles QB Michael Vick from playing Sunday at SF, according to source familiar with situation.

"It's so wild when people get to talking when you're not there, but when you're there everybody loves you," McNabb said.

"So I guess people will go deeper into it than I will. I'm a Redskin, no longer an Eagle. I had 11 great years and I'm moving on with my life, so whoever may say things when I'm gone, more power to them, but it's not making you look like a bigger man."

"Allen, for the time being, has been working as the second-string strong safety behind Mikell, but he's unlikely to stay there. He pulled his quad a couple months ago, but rather than rest it he continued his pre-draft workouts, which hasn't worsened the injury, but it has prevented it from properly healing"

Brian Baldinger: Eagles have no regret.
"The Eagles should be ecstatic. I view McNabb as a flawed player, and it was never more apparent than in the back-to-back losses to the Cowboys last season. His flaws will never go away. Now, the Eagles get at least two chances to expose the same flaws they've been covering up for 11 years. It works against the Redskins that McNabb is still in the division. Andy Reid can finally stop covering up for one of the most overrated quarterbacks in the history of the game. The Eagles will go to the playoffs. The Redskins will be watching from the golf course."

This has to be my favorite:
"...My effort is for these guys. We work together, we bleed together and at the end of the day they count. That locker room counts to me and as long as I've got their respect that's all that matters."

I really am gonna miss him..

..Didn't he..you know, actually do things for us?

Kinda surprised.

"Arizona's eventful offseason will continue this week when the Cardinals release former first-round pick Antrel Rolle, an NFL source said Sunday."

Frankly, I wouldn't want him anywhere near the Eagles. Just thought I'd put this story out there.

Our O-Line is apparently one of the best in the league. I may not agree, but go ahead and vote for us.

Bleeding Green Nation Eagles-Niners Start Time Moved

http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/Eagles-Niners_start_time_moved.html

It's been moved from 1 o'clock to 4:15.

I live in New York City, and I haven't been hit with the snow yet. It's pretty fucking cold, though. Hope you guys in Philly are doing alright.

...shit...75 words. Uhh. So, do you guys think the weather will affect us badly? I'm seeing more runs from the get-go, but it'll eventually be a pretty even pass-run ratio. I'm seeing Weaver having a decent day. Same with LeSean McCoy, although the wet weather might cause some fumbles (hopefully not).

So yeah. Go Eagles!
