Anyone know what happened to the Budweiser House?
For quite some time, the Kelly family has owned a house on Sheffiend and Kenmore that is known throughout Cubdom as the roof has been an advertisement for Budwieser. I don't know how much Bud paid for the honor, but the result has been that the Bud ad has become a part of the scene at Wrigley.
At tonight's game, I noticed that a tarp (or series of tarps) has been fastened to the house, covering the ad for Bud.
Does anyone know the story behind this?

The Return of the Racist Fukudome T-Shirts
Sadly, it appears the Cubs "fixing" the problem of the Fukudome t-shirts was only a temporary fix.
Look, as long as people can make a quick buck, they're going to try to sell these shirts.
If the Cubs want to, they can stop it, as they did before. But it will take some vigilance on their part to keep these sellers away from the stadium permanently.
Upon leaving the game today, someone was selling the Horry Cow shirts on the northeast corner of Addison and Sheffield.
For those of you who are as appalled as I am by the shirts, please contact the Cubs and let them know it's an issue you are serious about.
For those of you who think it's just a fun t-shirt or no big deal, we've heard your opinions before. Feel free to contact the Cubs and tell them your opinions as well, but no need to post messages here telling those of us who are disgusted by the shirts what we should and should not be offended by.

Mark Cuban will be at tonight's Cubs game
With the Mavericks out of the playoffs, it appears that Cuban is turning his attention to the Cubs. According to the Tribune, Cuban will be at the Cubs game tonight.
Here's the link: http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/chi-mark-cuban-wrigley-field-cubs,0,1130698.column
Personally, I'd love to see Cuban own the team, although I'd be happy with anyone who displayed some passion for the team. But the extra advantage of Cuban is that MLB could benefit from having an owner in MLB who would call out Bud Selig every once in a while.
