How to Block SBN Posters
I've seen a couple of requests here to block a given SBN poster. Rather than reply inline to a very long, possibly painful post about Mr. Asomugha, I have linked here to the extension that does the dirt.
Thank me later.

Cowboys Contact Elam
I liked this guy when he was here. I guess Ryan knows him.
Danieal Manning didn't allow a touchdown last season, according to Pro Football Focus, and out of 925 defensive snaps quarterbacks had a 59.7 quarterback rating against him when throwing in his direction.
Playmaker on the cover of Out Magazine
"I don't see how any African-American, with any inkling of history, can say that you don't have the right to live your life how you want to live your life," he said, according to the magazine. "No one should be telling you who you should love, no one should be telling you who you should be spending the rest of your life with. When we start talking about equality, and everybody being treated equally, I don't want to know an African-American who will say everybody doesn't deserve equality."

Mike Williams reportedly out for season
Mike Williams may be done. I know it's an unpopular opinion here, but that OL looked like it was in the process of greatly improving. This should be a huge blow for the Raljon (MD) Racists and many more huge blows for the esteemed Mr. McNabb. Let's hope that he regains his health and returns to compete.
A further of confidence for the LT position
The New Orleans Saints have traded two-time Pro-Bowl left tackle Jamaal Brown to Washington. Adam Schefter reports for ESPN that the the picks are conditional and most likely will result in the teams swapping picks in the third through seventh rounds. Brown is in the last year of his deal, so this amounts to a one-year look.
This could mean a win-win scenario for the Cowboys. Either Jerry thinks the options currently on the team are better than Brown (win for our O); or Jerry's assessment of Brown is that he isn't worth trading down two rounds in next year's draft (win for our D).
Of course it's possible that Jerry's assessment is way off, that Brown will return to form. It's also possible that Loomis won't deal to Jerry. But this sort of deal used to be Jerry's bread and butter: a one year look-see deal on an elite player coming back from injury. The old Jerry couldn't have passed this one up, which says a lot about this team and its management; and it says a lot about the fans' expectations that a bunch of posts didn't immediately go up that Jerral missed out again.
I'm not missing Folk missing
I was a little concerned he'd bounce back and that cutting him would haunt us, but.....not so much.
Alex Brown might be available
Most likely will be given an opportunity to start elsewhere, although he'd be a great rotation guy here. At 260, he can't play DE forever; a transition to OLB might extend his career.
Sites that will stream the game?
What sites are streaming todays game? I found one link, but I usually need back ups.
Change we can believe in
So what we have is a fine mess, different from previous messes only in intensity. The results are pretty much the same, as is the guy at the top, namely one Jerral Jones; and the owner's intense loyalty to this team's head coach continues to send up red flags. Conventional wisdom states that Our Boy Jerral would never fire the GM, just as it stated for many years that he would never hire a coach like Bill Parcells; but Jerry wants to win, so we give him the benefit of the doubt, hoping that something will change the fortunes of our Cowboys.
Did we get fleeced?
Fans in Detroit and most sports writers seem to feel like Detroit got the better of the Roy Williams trade. General consensus among these types seems to be that three draft picks is too steep of a price to pay. I don't know if it's been done elsewhere, but this got me thinking about the occasionally vaunted draft trade value chart and I used that to analyze the value of the trade.
Uncapped year
I've been trying to figure out the implications of the so-called "uncapped" year(s) that may or may not happen in the next few years. I yet to read a good explantation/ analysis of what it will mean to the league, but I have to assume it will be a good thing for the Boys.
Cowboys Best in League
Per Scouts, Inc.
Take this with a grain of salt, but Scouts, Inc. has evaluated the Cowboys as the best playoff team (by a nose).
