Just read Ian O'Connor's story for ESPN about Isiah Thomas' desire to go back to the Knicks, bring LeBron James and Dwayne Wade with him in 2014 and parade down Madison Avenue with a World Championship...(shaking head).
Is it an Onion article? Nope. Will it change your opinion about him? If by "change" you come to learn that not only is he a bad coach and manager, but also delusional and a liar, perhaps.
O'Connor's article and the accompanying interview Isiah gives ESPN Radio's "The Michael Kay Show" to try and defend himself is so crazy that radio host actually asks him at the end, "are you an evil person?"
My dislike for Isiah dates to 1990, but what he did to the Knicks as a GM and coach during the exact period, start to finish, of my tenure in NYC, turned dislike into something much stronger.
I want to make the Knicks my second favorite team. I'm mentally prepared to do that some day. Please, Jim Dolan, stop letting this guy be involved in your team. Get him out of the NBA and keep him out forever.
Thanks for listening, fellow Blazer fans. I didn't know who else to turn to.
