North London Derby that wasn't quite as thrilling as I had hoped, but a bunch of interesting results this weekend, including Liverpool losing away to Fulham.

HIC - 6:00 - Brigham LOOOOOOOOOOOOL DIRK

Brigham gave up a hit and a walk in 4 innings. No punchouts though. Martin Perez only went one, and per Ben Badler (hat tip to Scott Lucas), it's because they're starting to limit his innings. Perez was working 93-95 touching 96 in his one inning, meaning if I have my calculations right, he should be throwing around 110 when he's 21.

Kasey Kiker melted down in the 4th, ending up with a line of 3/7/6/6/2/4. He faced 6 batters in the inning, getting none out. Moreland: 2/5.

Ross - 4/3/1/1/2/5. 7:0 GB:FB. Ridiculous. Threw a bunch of pitches in the 3rd/4th (including one marathon 14 pitch AB), so he was taken out a bit early. Mendonca went 1/3 with a 2B, HBP and 2 K's, so pretty much business as usual for him lately.

HIC- 6:00 - WILMERRRRRRRRRR

Wilmer - 5/7/2/2/2/4. 8:3 GB:FB. Hickory racked up 6 runs in the first...hooray for run support.

Ballard's getting slapped around by the fairly beastly looking Midland lineup; Chris Carter really needs to calm down. Moreland: 2-4, 3B, 2RBI.
