of Our's Bring Shame....

Though I am not able to make any road trips this season or actually any season...I would ask, as a PSU alum...Please be respectful when traveling into enemy territory...Yes I know it's easy to taunt and get into "pissing contests" with the other team (especially if they're choc full o' nuts) but let's remember that we represent PSU as much as the players on the field

now I am not saying that we should cower like dogs when confronted...we need to show our strength if we have to but there is no need to act like idiots and fools...remember the team from 1912, go out there and give it all you got (support the team) and don't let them get to you just hit them where it hurts and let them lick thier wounds and go cry about it

Just keep in mind you not only represent yourself but an entire school and alumi fan base...You Stay Classy PSU

WE ARE

BTW Mike I love the PSU history I think you should post more of it when you get a chance....RUTS and Kevin your posts are kick ass as well...Hats off to BSD keep pumpin out the good stuff

Let's Go Buffalo

This is a great page showing how over rated laurinaitis really is...he has horrible positioning and jumps on anything going down to the ground...one of my favorite pics is when he is getting man handled by #71 and gets turned and is facing the total opposite direction of the ball...to me that just screams Butkus award winner

get ready for the love fest b/c he will be an all american this year and will win every defensive award imaginable....disgusting

Now is a mornful time to be a Sabres fan. While a handful of eastern team still remain in the on going quest we sit at home and wonder what could have been. As our team has been "temporarily" disassembled to play for thier respective countries, lesser NHL teams seem to be playing for a chance at Lord Stanley's ultimate prize. Though it hurts me that we are only one year removed from watching our team dominate, to some extent, there is still hope out there and there is still great hockey being played. I for one am not ashamed to admit I have been watching and cheering for a young and energetic Pittsburgh team that has been nothing less than dominate this post season. I have no qualms cheering for the Pens as we (the Sabres) usually have pretty good games against them, and they are not in our division. At first I was happy to see them demoralize Ottawa in a four game sweep, mainly to prove just how special this Sabres team was 1 year ago. Now they are about to take out the increasingly desparate NY Rangers, another possible sweep situation, and I could not be happier. I have to say I am not a fan of teams that try to "buy" a cup or any sports trophy for that matter, and with the way the Pens are playing I think they will prevent that this season.

I am also not ashamed to root for the Flyers this year or as I like to call them "the Philadelphia Sabres" b/c like most Buffalo fans I was a huge support of Biron and I am very happy that he is doing well in this post season. Biron was a hard worker in Buffalo and no matter the circumstance he never complained he never faultered, he just worked hard and did his job. It was always a pleasure when they interviewed him during intermission and when they had him miked during the games. Biron was a true team player and always helped in what ever way he could. I always knew he deserved to start in the NHL for a quality team and I am happy that he has the chance to prove what a fantastic goalie he has always been. I am also happy for Briere. Danny was another hard worker here in Buffalo and the circumstances were unfortunate for his departure. I wish Danny could have stayed a Sabre, seeing what he is capable of only reminds me of his time spent in Buffalo. As Sabres fans we were spoiled with two terrific seasons of hockey, and now in the turmoil of our offseason we realize what we had taken for granted. The future of the Sabres looks promising and we must acknowlege the great hockey that is being played in this offseason, even with our teams absence.
