Hello Lions fans,

I was at work today, and when the work slowed down, my thoughts went to the draft. With less than a week to go until the big event, I thought of you guys, (and gal), and wondered which first round draft choice would make the P.O.D. the most emotional. So, I took it one step further and decided on a question for you guys, (and gal). Please fill in the blanks and expound with your reasoning. "If the Lions picked (___________), I would be thrilled. But, if the Lions chose (_____________), I would be greatly disappointed". I was only referring to round one when I thought of this question for you all, but you can choose whatever round you wish. Personally, I would have to go with being the most thrilled with Riley Reiff because I am hoping he could be this years Fairley and give blindside protection for Stafford for many years. I would be the most disappointed with Janoris Jenkins as I view him as too risky of a pick.

You folks are the most intelligent football fans that I know, so I thought it would be fun to get your views. Enjoy.

Hey All,

Since it's slow these days in the POD, I wanted to throw around an idea, and find out your two cents. I think that most of us agree that the Lions front office has vastly improved this team in the off-season. What I have been wondering lately is the question of what if the team posts another 2-14 season, or 3-13. What would your reaction to that be? Will we be calling for Schwartz's head? Is there a win/ loss total that would upset you? I realize there could be more devastating injuries, or FA's that didn't work out, or draft picks that busted, or etc. etc. Believe me, I'm not trying to create controversy or anything, I was just wondering what you guys would think if that happened. At least it gives us something to talk about.

I have noticed that our second round pick in this year's draft seems to have sparked just as much interest as our first, and maybe more. From the sites I have researced, and from the conversations here at P.O.D., the consensus seems to be targeting three players. Brandon Graham, Mike Iupati, and Kyle Wilson. Let's just say for the sake of argument that all three are available when we pick in the second at #34. Given that choice, which one would you pick, or is there someone else you favor?
