With the coming draft only a few days ahead, we as fans have been trying to answer who we are going to take at #13. Anywhere from CB to taking LB's to even offensive and defensive linemen over the course of the last few months. I am not going to attempt to guess who we are going to take other than if its a rb or a kicker i will throw my  beer at the TV. My question comes about where this franchise is heading after the draft and after free agency. The question is will Mathew Stafford be the QB that takes us to the next level. We have been saying for the last year and a half really, "If Stafford stays healthy we will be Superbowl contenders." Im not trying to be a downer but this is a big year for Stafford and he has to prove he can stay healthy. We as Lions fans read everyday how "experts" decide we need a offensive tackle to protect Stafford, but come on. Backus is getting old granted and we need to groom his succesor but he had the best year of his career statistically and Stafford just had bad luck. Will Stafford stay healthy enough to lead the Lions to the next level?

No no, I will not go on about predicting wins and loses for the season cause I believe we have had enough of those and anyones predictions like that are anyones guess. My question to POD will be will are your predictions of what we will find out at the end of the season for individual players or coaches. What do you believe would be a surprise when we get to the end of the 17 game schedule. Will Stafford be a Pro Bowl QB? Will Best surprise us with his durability and power? Will the front 4 dominate and even have a double digit sack leader? These are only some of questions I am wondering and what you guys think will happen come the beginning of the 2011 offseason.

Is it me or is Coach really having fun with the media this offseason and i know the news crew is pissed off. How would you guys rate our offseason and i know that many do not approve of the medium teir players. Lets face it though our team stood out with 0-16 and it is put into the equation of FA's coming here. I am a Curry fan and even though moving him to MLB is different, still better than anyone cause we dont have one right now. Lenon not signed, Coach said Dizon staying outside along with Lewis. I'm not against any pick but in order i would choose Curry...Monroe....Smith....Stafford. In reality its prob though more like Smith....Stafford....Monroe....Curry
