&lt;p&gt;First fanpost. &amp;nbsp;Be gentle with me.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I'm a big fan of ESPN's Jayson Stark's columns about unusual baseball statistics, records, and coincidences.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So check out the oddball occurrences and goofy stats-I didn't remember half of this stuff!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I didn't read about Griffey getting on base for two different teams in the same day, or that the Mets gave up two grand slams all year...both to pitchers (just for starters).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anyway, there's a ton of really great, funny stuff here.&lt;/p&gt;
