I live in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, but continue to bleed Blue. Former Kiel Center usher, now a journalist. Lifelong Blues fan who has shed a tear on the great Dan Kelly's grave, wanted a Charlie Bourgeois jersey and eventually ended up with a Nelson Emerson instead. I do have a secret love for the Avalance (Nordiques) because Joe Sakic is a god. Oh, I loathe being as close to Red Wings country as I am. And I have drank the Kool-Aid and become a full-fledged Green Bay Packers fan.

Will Yahell! ever air a Blues game?
As a Blues fan more than 100 miles away from the city of my birth, it can be a battle to lay eyes on my favorite hockey team.
Actually watching the Blues play is, to me, critical to seeing just how well they've improved and whether or not the criticisms leveled are deserved or not.
The search for a solid Web feed of the games can be a challenge at best and damn annoying at worst. I get KMOX on my car radio in Oshkosh, Wisconsin more reliably than I can find a feed many times. I don't even have cable so a subscription to NHL's Gamecenter is also out of the question for this poor journalist.
My solution to this has been to regularly search Yahoo's upcoming NHL broadcasts to see if they've got Blues games in the lineup. Thus far this season, I can't think of one game they've broadcast featuring the 'Note.
In contrast, the Kings will have their games broadcast on Feb. 4, Feb. 6 and Feb. 8 (in addition both the Feb. 4 and 8 broadcasts feature the same two teams, Anaheim and LA). Blackhawks games will be broadcast on back-to-back days. And even the lowly Atlanta Thrashers make it on the air twice between now and Valentine's Day.
So what the fuck gives, Yahoo!? Did I miss the memo where you decided the Blues aren't worth a single broadcast more than halfway through the season? And better yet, can my fellow SLGTers come up with a suitable way we can let our displeasure be known?

Puck Daddy's take on the Blues
Wysh previews what we already know. Gotta love the Eeej image. And this quote:
"Some people think of the future and it upsets them. They see a rocket and they start building a bomb shelter. They see T.J. Oshie, they start building a fallout shelter."
But I disagree with giving us a C+ for goaltending. Mason/Conklin's got potential if you ask me. A little Brad Lee love was in there, too. As well as plenty of SLGT links.
Puck Daddy gives Andy Murray some love!
I never picture Andy Murray as a Budweiser drinker. I see good bourbon, on the rocks. Or at least a Molson Canadian.
Either way, he's saying a lot of things I like to hear. Focused on the team. High expectations and hard work. He even cracked a joke about Eeej's need to stay away from golf carts.

Three Blues make SI's list of best NHL nicknames
It's not too hard to figure out two of the three I'm talking about. You'll have to go back a few years to figure out the third. A few who wore the 'Note for part of a season or a couple of seasons also show up in there.
Fans of the fake Brian Burke Tweets
This is just too good. I laughed many, many times.
The Game that Changed the Season
Hey, it's summertime, I'm missin' me some Blues hockey, was browsing the deep recesses of Hulu and discovered the Bruins/Blues game from January.
So, yeah. Enjoy.
