When you look at my favorite teams, youre never going to find a pattern or any rhyme or reason as to why i like them when you consider that i was born, raised, and still reside in Arizona. I mean I love the suns for basketball and that makes since form where I'm from, but i despise the AZ diamondbacks for baseball and i'm starting to hate the Cardinals in Football. I am and will always be a cubs fan, growing up in small town AZ with WGN the cubs are always on to watch and after you get a little older and can drive a few hours to watch them play spring taining games in Mesa AZ, this one makes more sense that it would appear too, because of my age the DBacks weren't around as a team when i started to become a fan of baseball, so it would not make any sense as to why i would like them just because they came around in my home state. I guess the ones that make no sense are the Dolphins as my favorite football team for professional and the fighting Irish as my Favorite for NCAA, the Irish can kinda be explained by in the same way as the cubs, in a small town, watching basic cable on saturday afternoons allows you to watch Notre Dame every week due to their contract with NBC so after awhile it just makes sense. Now the dolphins thing could just be a fluke, but i gotta say i think its because of Dan Marino and alll his accomplishments , and the fact that the AZ Cardinals were crap for all of my childhood years so i just picked the Phins and never looked back.
