Just like it says when it comes to sports I'm a long suffering Jet fan growing up on Long Island's North Shore I had an older brother who gravitated to the underdog's aka The Mets The Jets. We did root for the Giants and I still do they never had the aristocracy of the Yankee's. I got great pleasure on many levels watching the Giants beat the Patriots destroying "the perfect season" though I think the Dolphins are full of it about perfect season their record has been beaten twice by New England over the past several years its wins in a row that get counted. Joe Dimaggio's hitting streak would have still counted if it went over two seasons. 18-0 beats 17-0 that is the joy of being a New Yorker to me we don't say the glass if half empty or half full we say either way you have a glass of water plain and simple! Oh and now that I no longer live in New York I pull for all the New York teams and that includes the million dollar Yankee's.

Anyway I live in Minnesota now if you have somehow read this far. Where all the sports franchise's are poor helpless things being tread on by the big bad cities. Cry me a river Vikings! Giants clobbered you in 01! Same as the Falcons did in 98! Chauncey Billups leaves the Wolves wins a title in Detroit. Same for KG in Boston! Same for Big Poppi David Ortiz! And former Twin Johan Santana will be making his first World Series appearance with the Mets this October I predict. Oh and speaking of things that left Minnesota nothing beats the whole hockey team (North Stars) going to Dallas of all places and winning the Stanley Cup! These are examples of what this area had and let go then it blames everyone else. Most of the above mentioned examples were the fault of bad management not big money!
