DKR SEATING? FOOD?
I will be attending the October 10th game vs Colorado. Currently I am shopping my ticket/seating options and need some help with best selection. I have only been to 2 games in Austin, once in '99 and Last year vs Baylor, what sections would you choose to sit, with a budget of 130.00 per ticket?
I am also a foodie, I love to eat. Can you recommend some restaurants for me visit during my time there? Chuy's, Bikinis, and Opal Devine's are where we ate the last time in town.

Tech This Weekend
Not sure of what to expect this weekend. Both teams have been so inconsistent lately. Hopefully Texas can put together an entire game and win. Either way there will be FREE FOOD.

So confused...!!!
I am so torn as to who I want to win this weekend. I assume that Texas will handle A&M and Tech will handle Baylor. I am undecided on the OSU vs OU game. So many scenarios...I just can't decide. An OU win could possibly put us in the conference championship but OU could also sneak in. An OU loss puts Tech in the conference title game, which I don't think either Tech or Mizzou could jump us after a win...still I don't know .

New BCS Scenario?
Austin-American Statesman is reporting that there is an outside chance that 3...that's right 3...Big 12 teams could end up playing in a BCS game. Although, this scenario seems like a longshot, there is the possiblity that this wil happen. Especially, with the Big XII title game being in KC. Basically, a Mizzou home game. Can you imagine the fallout if this actually happens?

TIE BREAKER?
I have been asked this question several times over the last few days, and I am not sure how to answer it. This scenario, is improbable but also possible.
Let's say that OSU beats Tech and wins out the remainder of their season? After losing to OSU, Tech wins out (yes, In know this means they beat OU at home). Texas also wins the remainder of their schedule.
This, hypothetically, would cause a 3 way tie. With Texas holding advantage over OSU, OSU over Tech, and Tech over Texas. In this scenario, what is the determining factor on who represents the Big XII South in the conference title game?

North Endzone Seating
I have 2 tickets in the North Endzone for an upcoming game. I live and Lubbock, and have only seen the new endzone from a TV camera perspective. I am in Section 15 Row 5. My last visit to DKR was '99 vs Tech (58-7 good road trip) and I was center of the endzone very last row. I am anticipating a much better experience this time around. Have anyone been able to watch a game from this area of the stadium? Pros/Cons?

Spring Game
I am excited about this weekends Spring Jamboree, more so than in the past. I always enjoy wathcing this to get my football fix, but always found it hard to follow. I just read that this year's will actually be a game. No more scoring points for turnovers or explosive plays. It is actually a game using conventional scoring and putting both 1st teams on the field against each other. Hopefully, everyone stays healthy, but this should be great to watch. I am really looking forward to it.

Baseball in Lubbock
It's funny. Over the last few months, I have had many tech fans talking of how Tech is definitely going to make a run at a College WS championship. Today, many of those people, are talking of how bad their baseball team is. I can only assume that yesterdays 22-6 loss to the Longhorns has changed their minds. It's just amazing to me how many "fair weather" fans there are here in Lubbock.
I will be attending Saturday's game here in Lubbock, and I hope to see another big win. This will be my first opportunity...ever...to see Texas Baseball in action. The other 3 times I bought tickets, it has been rained out. And wouldn't you know it, there is a good chance for thunderstorms tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed,

1st Opportunity to see TX basketball this season
I am stoked to finally see this team in person. I am always nervous about Texas coming to Lubbock. Strange things seems to happen here. Although, I am confident in this years team, I am really nervous about them laying an egg on Saturday.
Will anyone else here be in attendance?
