Questions about Buying Jerseys online
I have not posted in a very long while, so I apologize if I'm too rambly. I have been searching all over the internets for some reasonably priced jerseys, specifically the 1984 Ryne Sanberg away/blue jersey. I recently tried buying a Blackhawks jersey on eBay, and it ended up being a knockoff (eBay is working on getting my money back). I have recently found this website, chicagonationsports, and am pretty leery of trusting it. The really odd thing, is that I found it through an eBay listing. It offers to sell you a jersey from the previously mentioned site and give you a book. The reason I find this interesting is that it is covered by eBay's Buyer's Guarantee; so even if something does go wrong, they will cover it.
So my question is: has anyone dealt with, or even heard of this website?
Paid Protesters Picket Wrigley
I hadn't heard about this, but found it pretty interesting: apparently there were "several dozen protesters...protesting the proposed Toyota sign...in left field." The catch is, it was just a craiglist gig, where the protesters were paid $25 to stand outside Wrigley and hand out fliers.
Marquis baffles Nats for MLB-best 11th win
Wow, I didn't think Jason Marquis would be leading the lead in wins, but I would imagine that even if he was still here, our record would be very similar seeing as we've had excellent starting pitching, but until recently, poor run scoring.

Was ANYONE able to watch the game
on Comcast Sports Net Chicago + last night? Because all my tv said was something about not being able to access something vc for 3 (I live in Lafayette)... I have comcast digital cable, so I figured I'd start by troubleshooting my end. First I checked to see if my analog tv could get the channel, it couldn't; then I called my friends and family in town, they couldn't; so finally I called 1-800-COMCAST. That was a mistake. I was on hold for 45 minutes before someone finally took my call, and here's what they said:
"Sorry about the inconvenience, but it's a problem at the broadcast end, we have nothing to do with it."
"But you're the same company, Comcast owns Comcast Cable and Comcast Sports Net Chicago +."
"Well there's nothing we can do about it, we don't make the content, we only send out of the cable lines what they give us. They're not sending us anything."
"How long with this be down? Are we talking days, weeks, months?"
"Um...it'll probably be working tomorrow."
So I ask you, was ANYONE able to watch the game, or was it just my local comcast affiliate that screwed up?
On a side note, I'm this |--| close to canceling my cable all together and going with satellite and DSL. The only thing stopping me is that the phone company is also stupid and makes you pay for the basic land-line phone charge on top of the DSL charge, making it more expensive overall.
