Big Cat Country The Broncos Have Spoken

I ran my little thought by the Denver Broncos Website and it was mostly all NO's because like us they have alot of holes to fill and not enough draft picks. Plus they say their Biggest needs are DE's and DT's and this draft class is very deep at both positions which is true. They said the only way this deal could happen is if we took Orton and Eddie Royal off their hands with only one 2nd round pick in exchange for Luke McCown, 1st round pick, and a 4th rounder. I said No ha so idk. But now that i look at it i like Cameron Jordan at 16 if the Vickings dont take him

Mile High Report Listen Up Bronco Fans!

Im with BigCatCountry with the Jacksonville Jaguars and i got a little something i'd like to run by yall to see what you think.

I have a pretty cool little scenario that could happen on draft day. Just wondering if you would mind this scenario. Now first we know we need a QB, DE, LB, CB, S, WR, OL. In the order we draft these positions is much debated. How about Gene Smith gives this a try

  • First, lets trade our 1st Round pick 16th to the Denver Broncos for their 2nd Round 36th and 2nd Round 46th.
  • That would give us 3 picks in the 2nd Round (36,46,49)

First, the Denver Broncos would probably make this deal because they are torn between adressing their interion Dline and the DEs. They would also love to spend their 2nd overall pick on possibly the greatest CB prospect since Charles Woodson. With this deal they could draft Patrick Peterson with the 2nd overall pick, even though its a high pick for his positon. But hey if Sebastain Janikowski can be drafted in the 1st, anything can happen.

Then with our 16th pick they can adress their Dline with Ryan Kerrigan, Cameron Jordan, JJ Watt, Phil Taylor, Stephen Pea....

They could even draft Nick Fairley or Marcell Dareus with the 2nd overall pick to adress their Dline and draft somebody like Jimmy Smith, Brandon Harris, or even draft another Dlinemen to sure up their Dline with Dumerveil coming off injury and Ayers unproven as a 4-3 DE. Getting two high profile players would do some good for Coach Fox.

  • Now why would this make sense for us? With those 3 picks in the 2nd round we could adress the QB, WR, and Defensive back position
  • QBs- Players like Jake Locker, Colin Kaepernick, Christian Ponder, Ryan Mallet could be available in the 2nd for QBs.
  • WRs- Players like Leonard Hankerson, Jon Baldwin, Torrey Smith, Titus Young could be available for the WRs.
  • Defensive Backs- Players like possibly Brandon Harris if he slips, Rahim Moore, Aaron Williams, Ras-I Dowling, Tyler Sash, Curtis Brown could be available for the Defensive Backs.
  • Even players like LB Martez Wilson,DE Cameron Hayward,LB Bruce Carter, LB Mason Foster, would be solid picks and positions of need.

Getting 3 of these needed players would be great. Sure we would miss out on taking someone like Ryan Kerrigan, Adrain Clayborn, Jimmy Smith, or even Brandon Harris if people are high on him, but i would rather have my future QB, a WR that could come in right away, and a sure fire Defensive starter. I feel this has to do with us not signing MSW which means we need a legit WR to come in and help out Mike T and JHill. This makes alot of sense for both teams dont you think? And we all know the Jags aren't scared to trade their picks. And hey we save some money not having to sign a 1st round pick. Notice the Patriots always get their value in the 2nd Rounds. Not saying to become like the Patriots but in a draft that we really dont know who would be a safe pick at 16, why not make this move?

Big Cat Country IM SO SORRY

Reports of me being a coach are false my cousin got into my profile here. Im sorry for any credibility i have lost. I am 18 and college is stressful so i havent been here in awhile so im sorry. If im not taken seriously from now on i understand but it wasnt me. As my first topic back, i'd like to say im not too pleased with the letting walk of MSW unless we adress the WR position early in the draft or sign a good free agent. We really cant rely on the WR's we have now. They may develop but as of right now i feel Mercades Lewis and Mike Thomas are our only viable proven options and thats not a WR core that can get us to the playoffs. Just my thought and i'd like to congrats to Mr. ALFIE CROW. Last time i was here it was some other dude running this show. Much support for you sir. TEAL IS THE REAL DEAL!!

Burnt Orange Nation Its a concern

Garret Gilbert wasn't the QB we had hoped he'd be last year. Even though our woes weren't just his fault of course, he could have played a whole lot better. Entering his Junior Year, i hope he becomes the leader and QB this school has come to know. A game changer. If he doesn't progress and we have to pull him, who are our other QB options to play this year or in the near future for this team?
