Orange Bowl tonight
Go Kanasas! I picked them Jayhawks to win big.
I won't get to watch the game. Maybe I'll be able to hear it on the radio as I drive. Unfortunatly, I've got to go out of town on business in like two hours.
I have to drive down to Austin for a meeting in the morning and then turn around and drive to Houston. Then I have to drive to dreaded god awful Galveston to meet a client. Then drive all the way back home to Dallas and try and get home by monday afternoon.
How exciting! I have no life.

Highland Park won 49-6
last night.
ha ha ha... West Mesquite's so called dream season ended with a terrifying nightmare. The Scots slaughtered the lame ass overrated Wranglers 49-6.
Highland Park will play the winner of tonights game between Everman and Wichita Falls Rider.

Stars game tonight
vs. New Jersey Devils
The puck drops at 6:00 PM... The Stars look to extend their winning streak to seven games. YAY!
I read early this morning that it appears Smith will be back to the net. Even though Marty had a good game on monday.
Looks like the big shakeup we had two weeks ago is working... the new interim Co-GM's, Hull & Jackson and new team president Jeff Cogen are really starting to produce wins and making a damn good positive impact on the ice for this team.
Should be a good game tonight. Need this win to keep a lead in the Pacific on the Anaheim Ducks.
Go Stars

Newberg espn sportscenter
Jamey had to vent about ESPN... "and I might be scarred for life" I love it! Damn funny! I concur, counselor...
I'm overcome with guilt. For some reason I tuned into SportsCenter last night. I then saw the Celtics-Timberwolves pre-season highlights package set to something called Stuart Scott's Poetry Jam, and I might be scarred for life.
Good grief, ESPN is an embarrassment. The only good thing about SportsCenter is the genius of the commercial spots promoting the show. Sad.
